Welcome to Keisha’s World

Welcome to Keisha’s World
There’s a whole ‘nuther world outside this window but it’s not Keisha’s World.

This week’s 52 Snapshots’ theme is World. Which way shall I take this? I’ll welcome you to Keisha’s World where everything I post is part of my world, meaning that any pic in the archives is part of MY world. Kapeesh?

My world revolves around running through my tunnels and playing with foam rockets. It’s a blogging world where I have giveaways, share my favorite fotos and tell you about cool products. Mostly it’s a world full of biting the peeps and keeping true to my feral roots.

Welcome to Keisha’s World
TW says my world revolves around running through my tunnels.

Y’all know the adage “it’s a small world”? It really is. Back in December 2010 an event occurred that brought that point home. TW had picked up some cat food for one of my Twitter furrends because his staff was having a hard time finding it. His staff came over one morning to pick it up. Here’s what went down:
They began with a lot of talk about the "kids," with the furrend's human, of course, noting how stunning I was. Then Pop mentioned something about being off from work that day. Furrend's human then axed what Pop did. Pop began to regurgitate in the most technical terms he could what he did. It sounded something like this. "blah-de-blah blah-de-blah boring-blahrity-blah ZZZZ" Oh sorry, those were my zzzz's. I had no idea what he was talking about; TW had no idea what he was talking about. Furrend's human said "Do you work at XYZ Company? I thought I recognized you! I see you on the elevator all the time. I work for XYZ Company too." A light went on in Pop's head: "You work on the ____ floor near Joe Blow." What the heck is the chance of Pop working with one of my furrend's humans?
It’s indeed a small world but it’s part of Keisha’s World where Keisha is stunning enough to have Keisha Tour Buses stopping outside the condo.

Thanks to Christina and The Lazy Pit Bull for hosting the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge this week and every week throughout 2015. For those who would like to participate, next week’s theme is Pumpkin. I think I have a few pumpkin snaps

Welcome to Keisha’s World art

It’s time to get artsy fartsy and I’m ready. I wanted to do something different but you guys really like the Photoshop actions, I do this blog all for the fans so your input is important. I used some different actions this week. I started with an image that was too dark and grainy. First I boosted the light a little in PS and followed that with three different actions from my bag of tricks: a Digital Drawing, the Vogue and Light Leaks 5 actions both from Premium Looks set. Truth be told, I liked it better without the Light Leaks but it is what it is.

Then we cropped the image differently cos I could see the tunnel made a great frame around me. Almost like a ring of fire. I started with one of the Digital Drawing actions and then used the Retrograde Filter call Ophelia. I’m gonna smack TW upside the head for not making the image circular with just me and the tunnel. Sigh. It’s so hard to get good help.

Welcome to Keisha’s World art

I hope you enjoyed seeing where the action is. Heh heh. Anyone remember that song “Where the Action Is”? It was the theme song from a TV show by the same name.

Thanks to Athena and Marie for hosting the pawsome Caturday Art Blog Hop every week. Without it, TW would still be clueless about photoshop. Stop by the see some creative anipals strutting their newest art images.

  1. 'It's a world of kitties, a world to rule. A world of supervising TW and Pops, the world where Stunning Keisha is the most cool! It's a small world after all...'

  3. C.K, you are indeed stunning in that first photo. We suspect that may bring gentleman callers to your door, and we really like your heart. The expression on your face is adorable is the PS photos. Mom has two cool small world stories. A past roommate and traveling companion had moved to Hawaii. She and Mom corresponded but hadn't seen each other in years. Mom and Dad were in Utah at an event and who should be staying at the same hotel (there for her nephew's graduation) but Mom's friend, and they had a great reunion. A few years back Mom and Dad were in Italy in a super small town waiting for a train. Who should arrive at the same train station but their lawyer and his wife. Mom wonders all the time when she is at big events or in airports if she walks right past people she has known at one time. Have a great weekend. 11. My word but I like the art work...very daring. Not like my mom, she needs to see our pretty side or she gets upset. Really? You're bad, mom.

  13. I loved reading all about your world! That was a great story about TW's friend working with your Pop ;-) Small world indeed.

Also, the Human wishes me to express her sympathies to TW for her mishap earlier in the week. We are glad her wound is healing up--the Humans just can't be trusted with sharp objects, can they? Sorry we've been a little scarce this week--the Human had to get all her grades done and stuff and *apparently* that was so much more impawtant than MY needs. Sigh. XOXOXOX

  21. Lucky, your human's small world was a good thing. Despite your photo intern failing to crop your photo to a circle, I think it turned out great.
