Happy November

In case there's room on your wall next to your fabulous Sparkle calendar, here's my November calendar. As you can see, I'm surrounded by food, but it's NOT edible food like tuna and salmon or even real turkey. Check out the 4-lb chocolate turkey the peeps had me pose with last Thanksgiving. Back then, I was still posing but now that I'm a big star, I refuse to do their bidding. Click on the calendar to biggify it so you can print it out.

The peeps took a walk in the hood today. They said there's a lot of houses that lost shingles and one unit in our complex has a hole through the window. All the local stores and restaurants are still closed because they don't have power. Even Pathmark was closed cos their generator had died. We're still having sporadic outtages of internet, phone and cable but we're one of the lucky ones. After all, a good portion of our town is underwater and is a disaster area.

Halloween came and went. We had about 22 trick and treaters. Usually when the doorbell rings, I run UTB unless it's dinner time cos sometimes the peeps will get takeout. I was intrigued by the little humans all dressed up in colorful costumes and came to the door to welcome them. Come to think of it, they came around dinner time so maybe I thought they were bringing ME food. HAH!

In case, you're wondering what Stunning Keisha got her Pop for his birthday, wonder no more.

The world's only Stunning Keisha messenger bag!

CK, you and your family really are lucky - your home is intact and you (mostly) have power. I hope things start getting back to normal for your town soon!

We are so glad you made it through Sandy OK, CK. You are so right about how much wore it was in other places. We expect you Pop is in for a long dragged out problem regarding getting to and from work in Manhattan. That is not an easy problem to solve.

We don't like our cold house, and our humans don't either, and doing without power is a pain, but they can go to my Mom's work place to power up their electronics, and go on the internet a bit, and so many people are so much worse off.

Stay well.

Wow, it is true then. October is over and now the new month of November is starting. The time is flying.
Thanks so much for coming to the Tabby Cat Club Halloween/Fall party. I hope you made it home safely. Remember what happened at the party stays at the party.

We're so very glad you guys have power and stuff. And we keep watching the stories unfold and are amazed at the devastation. We assume your Pop is still having to work from home? Mowzers, those were long lines we saw for peeps waiting to get on buses to get to work in Manhattan...!!

So very sorry so much of your home town is still under water and probably changed forever. I am glad you have power as it must make it easier for meals, reading, TV when you can get it etc. Paw hugs, Savvy

Wow--what an ultra cool bag. Just for Pop, eh? The Woman doesn't get one? Well, that's okay. A girl's gotta love her Daddy.

Say, do you think the storm mighta knocked some brain cells around or something? What do you MEAN you were welcoming the little sticky people?? That actually has me worried about you now!

Stay safe, my darling girl. You *do* have plenty of noms there, right??
