Breaking News From The CNN Newsroom!

A Special Report from the The Cat News Network. We now take you to our Nation's Capitol where Cathy Keisha is about to address the media.

*tap tap tap* Is this thing on?? *clears throat* Thank you all for coming today. I've called you here for a very special announcement. You may have noticed the new blog header Glogirly and Katie so generously donated to me and wondered if this cat has lost her marbles. I'm here to assure you I know where each and every one of my marbles is. Thank you, Katie and those who have mentioned how much they like my new header.

I know you're not used to the concept of a cat endorsing a Presidential candidate. Although I could, I've never used this blog as a political platform, much to your relief. I've had to rethink my position on this policy. Normally, I would leave politics to the humans although we've seen how humans can screw up everything. In 2012, I have to stand in solidarity with my woofie furrends. Anyone who'd roof rack a dog would roof rack a cat. Na mean? Also my peeps say the guy is über scary and may even roof rack the middle class and the elderly. I have joined forces with Dogs Against Romney (@Grrr_Romney) and the Million Mutt March to show support for my canine brofurs and sisfurs. The choice is clear to me. This stunning little ghetto kitteh is endorsing President Barack Obama for reelection. Thank you for coming. Cod bless this beautiful country of ours. Please vote your conscience. Please Vote on November 6.

Would you like to comment?

  5. My human votes in EVERY election, on ALL the issues and candidates (well, except this year 'cause she doesn't like our senator and has no other viable option, so she is passing on her since she is going to win anyway). Her fiance votes in most of them ('cause my human drags him there). As a kitty with followers of every political and religious persuasion, I stay mum on these topics. But I will say we live in California and the humans are pretty typical of our city here. ;-)

  6. KATIE: Great press conference, CK! You wear Obama very well. ; )

GLOGIRLY: Every vote should be heard and everyone should exercise their right to vote. Although we've been known to make fun of an election or two (HA!) we respect what an important decision this is for everyone in our country.

KATIE: So with that...please VOTE for "Katie Is...ACCUSED"

GLOGIRLY: KATIE!!! This is about the PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION! NOT your silly cat video.

KATIE: Did she actually say silly???

    Get out and vote everyone.

  9. If you don't vote, don't bitch. Since my huMom would never give up the right to do THAT!, she'll be going to vote early tomorrow morning. To those forced to stand in long lines and combat those trying to suppress the vote, we salute you. You're not just standing in line for hours, you're fighting for every citizen's right to have their vote count. So though your feet hurt and you're tired and thirsty, you are an American hero. Thank You.

  12. Yes, this is dangerous territory you are treading into Cathy Keisha! Folks can get some upset about politics.

In my case, though, I'm Canadian so I can't vote anyway. But I have to tell you, if I did, it would be Obama all the way!

    Romney, Schmomney!

  16. Our mom votes in every election because she believes in our freedom to do so and to have our own personal opinions about who is best for the country. Other than that, we don't get political.

  17. I LOVE with ladycat with an opinion--and pretty spiffy in that hat too! :)

  18. The Human has nebber missed an election since she gotted to vote (she had to be 21 back in the Dark Ages). She hopes that the bad weather and all the other problems don't prevent people from being able to vote because that would be yet another storm tragedy. You look like you was made for the political life, CK--maybe you should run for sumfing? You got too much mojo to just be a campaign manager!!

  27. Excellent press conference. We wanted to endorse. It's in the fiber of my being to ooze liberal and gush Democratic Party. I feared I'd lose my audience on my blog and on Facebook, so I skirted around it here and there. If you'd see my personal Facebook page, you'd see there's no doubt of my affinities. Cathy Keisha and all Democat friends who came out and let everybody know they're Democats, I'm with you and I salute you.
