This upcoming week is gonna be both a pleasure for me and rough for me.
Pop is on staycation, which is wonderful cos I'm gonna get all kinds of attention and scritchings and FURminating. On the other paw, I use HIS computer to blog and visit my furrends and HE'S gonna actually want to use HIS computer so I may be very scarce. It's started already. My last post was ages ago. Also when he's home, there's always the threat of a visit to the evil v-e-t. As you all know, after last year's horror and trauma, I don't really have a v-e-t anymore. I've been hearing "
Secaucus" bandied around but I've got my paws crossed that they've got enough other stuff to keep them busy. I'll be lying low for awhile.
I'm happy to report no more incidences of yakking and I've been back to normal.

Chillaxing on the Yankee blankie. Go Yankees! |
EK stresses at the v-e-t, so mom ordered a thundershirt. I'll let you know if it helps. Maybe one would help you, too. None of us like going to the v-e-t, but it's impawtant to go.
ReplyDeleteLast time EK was at the v-e-t, mom asked the tech about how bad do some of the cats get. The tech said some of the cats have to be sedated first. Glad I don't have to be. I've heard those pills can be yucky.
CK, you look totally fine to me - I see NO reason you need a vet visit! Right?
ReplyDeleteCK, gf, I remember that horrible time last year! May it never EVER happen again. And you're likely right, I would be a Daddy's Girl if I had the chance.

CK, we are sending purrs that you don't have to go to the vet. They just can't do that to you. Hope your week gets better. Take care.
ReplyDeleteNo good will come of this staycation, we're afraid.
ReplyDeleteDear CK,
ReplyDeleteOur Tommie could teach you to yack in out-of-the-way places quietly. Then no danger of vet visits....
Good luck with the staycation!

CK that blankie looks big enough for two! ;) Just saying…. xox
ReplyDeleteOh noes! Not SECAUCUS!!
ReplyDeleteglad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Pop being home!
We are glad to hear that you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteTruffle is scheduled to visit the vet in a few weeks for her 1 year checkup.
CK, this staycation doesn't sound like much fun at all...at least for you. Zoey is a terror at the v-e-t and we may be in the market for a new one for her. She hasn't been "examined" in 3 years because the v-e-t can't touch her. They can barely get a rabies shot into her. She's a tough one.
ReplyDeleteOh CK, that just doesn't sound like a fun week coming up at all!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I think maybe Pops needs to learn a thing or two about who really has priority in using the computer. I mean, you have 203 followers--how many does HE have? Well, see--wasn't that simple?
ReplyDeleteKeisha glad you are back to normal. Hope your dad has a nice staycation. Have a great Monday and see you when you are back.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Love your blankie! MomKatt has a Detroit Tigers one (fleece!) that I love! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeletePURRS!

Oh CK!! I hope you aren't too inconvenienced with Pop's staycation..I will miss you...at least get your posts out...don't bother visiting..but keep us informed about all the great attention you get while he is home!! Paw pats, Savannah
ReplyDeleteStaycation with Daddy, That is fun! Now, to get Daddy to use the computer, sit on him and purr. Gentle flexing of the claws helps too!
