Feral Friday Fill-ins & Fussin'

Hola kitties! Friday has rolled around once again. Hope your week was better than mine. I know I'm always complaining but the peeps left me alone A LOT since Sunday. I've spent a lot of time staring out the window waiting for them to come home. Too bad I couldn't invite Livesy in to pawty. Last Sunday they left at 11 a.m. and didn't get home for days until almost 10 p.m.  I hadn't eaten at all [Ed note: she had plenty of wet and dry food but chose not to eat.] so when they got home I ate so fast I frew up. After all that, they had the nerve to go to bingo Tuesday night. While they were winning like drunk sailors, I was home twiddling my paws and tail.

Feral Friday Fill-ins & Fussin'

Wednesday and Thursday Pop went into the office. TW was supposed to be tending to all my demands and blogging needs. Instead she went out to run errands. On Wednesday, as soon as she returned and fed me, one of the humans she spent all day Sunday with called and she went out with him for hours. It was a cat's worst nightmare.

Feral Friday Fill-ins & Fussin'

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number one.

1. I could not defend myself without my sharp teeth and claws. One of my catch-phrases is "My teeth and claws are sharp. Because of them I have no fear."

2. A simple pleasure I enjoy is biting. Yep, I still keep part of my feralness.

3. If I could change one thing about myself, I wouldn't. I'm perfect just the way I am. Perhaps I'm a bit too lenient with the peeps and I do have a soft spot for those homeless cats everywhere. I need to toughen up again and start looking out for number one.

4. Good help is hard to find these days. I keep looking for a replacement for TW but haven't found anyone. She's lacking in skills, ideas, creativity and she's a lousy housekeeper. I have to hop on one leg before she cleans my litter box.

Feral Friday Fill-ins & Fussin'

I went into Photoshop again this week to do some painting. This time I tried the free Adobe Watercolor Artist action. I haven't worked all the kinks out, but I'm really liking this. In fact, I don't usually frame my work until I sell it but I liked this so much I framed it. I can't wait to do more experimenting with my watercolor techniques. I'm not sure this will make a good puzzle altho I know my fans will clamor for one.

This will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.

Thank you for your comments on Tuesday/Wednesday's Year-End Rear-End Review post. Those of you who mentioned you liked the Amazing Facts will be happy to know I have one in draft. I found a ton of new questions. It could have been completed if some lazy human wasn't out galavanting so much. As I said above: good help is hard to find.

Can you believe that my human occasionally disappears ALL NIGHT doing who-knows-what?!

This is absolutely stunning art of the world’s most stunning cat. We have gotten lucky having Sawyer join our family. It means our humans rarely leave the house together and if they do it is for a very, very short time. It sounds as if TW and your pop may need to have harnesses so you can lock them down. Hoping they stay put this weekend. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

CK, this image of you is so adorable! If I were TW, I'd have it made into wall art! The only cat around here who bites is The PO'M, and only when he feels I'm not paying enough attention to his roundness! Oh, and he swipes me with his claws fairly regularly, so you can rest assured that you are keeping your feral ways!

You poor mistreated baby. I'm sure you're exaggerating a bit. It's all good.

Love your fill-ins.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥

I can't believe how badly they have been treating you. I hope they make it up to you with Chinese food or at the very least, a rotisserie chicken. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I know you are perfect and don't need to change anything. :) I agree that good help is hard to find. I love your art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

I can't believe how neglected you are!
You could always move in with me, but we do tend to take quite a few holidays now, so you would probably end up worse off.
I like your art, and thanks for the puzzle.

Being left alone that long is just unacceptable. You should barf up a hairball in their shoes.

You gotta get those peeps of yours in line, CK! We agree with your #4. Cod knows we don’t have good help around here.

You poor baby! You should definitely consider filing neglect charges.

Sounds like you do need to toughen up on those humans, they are taking WAY too many liberties - MOL!

Having so much feralness in you, I'm surprised you don't enjoy the solitude of being left alone. But then I guess you can't have your demands met. Good thing you have those sharp teeth and claws to encourage TW and Pops to be at your service.

I hate when the humans disappear for their movies and concerts and blah blah STAY HOME and feed the cat!

It looks like you've been furry badly treated this week by your Neglectful Humans, CK. Next time that happens, you should teleport over to Us and We will endeavour to keep you entertained and well-fed until they get back. You could come on a Magical Flying Carpet ride with Us, if you like!

WOW! the watercolor came out much better than our helpless human has helped me with! We would frame it too!
I am the biter (and scratcher) Jo Jo bites (occasionally) and we ALL scratch! Even Cinnamon!
Ninja and me were the only former ferals though Koz and Jo Jo ARE rescues...
We LOVE YOU and your fillins and your WATER COLOR! YOU ROCK!
You admirer
PS We NEVER get left alone (much) anymore. Dad only goes out when Mommy takes him and the roads have been terrible for the last 2 weeks. Mom and Dad had to go to Grand Forks BC to pick up his prescriptions and Mommy says the road was icy. She says she "White Knuckled" it (whatever that means). But Alex was here so we were not technically alone.

CK, don't your humans know they're supposed to wait on you every second of every day without fail? Surely them leaving is a breach of contract and they need to be punished. Do you ever use those sharp teeth and claws of yours to put them back in their place? We bet you do.

P.S. In all seriousness, we wish Livesy could have a home more like yours, CK. Livesy deserves humans who know how to properly look after a kitty.

How DARE TW and Pop leave you alone, CK. They should tend to your needs and desires 24/7! It's only right!

My Mum hates leaving me alone in the house, even for a few hours. I'm lucky that she rarely leaves the house and prefers to live like a hermit.

I like to bite too!
