These both would have been pawsome without the finger photobomb. Pop says you can barely see the finger and to imagine it's grey matter or something. HAH! Only Pop would say that.
I wonder if it was trying to hide the mess that is his desk. He did a good job with that.
His iBone takes better and sharper shots that TW's el cheapo point and shoot. She should get one of those just for the camera.
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a feature held weekly at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number one. It's a terrible image taken from a video. I'm about the throw Furbie in the air. He's that little puff under the second "N".
1. When I am playing with Furbie I talk a lot. TW wonders if it's normal that I talk, yell and chirp at Furbie when we play. You guys talk to your toys, don't you?? Tell me I'm not alone cos TW says she's never had a cat who did it.
2. I want to order Chinese food for dinner. If I made the menu, it would read Chinese on Monday, ham on Tuesday, rotisserie chick-hen on Wednesday, turkey breast on Thursday and salmon on Friday. We'd order Mexican for Saturday and TW could make her baked chicken on Sunday. There'd be no portobello and goat cheese ravioli or lasagna rollups or pineapple pizza.
3. No one knows me better than TW. I wish she wouldn't know me so well. For how much Pop loves me, he doesn't know me half as well.
4. How lucky I am to have a forever home is a thought that crosses my mind often. Being as I'm a biting kitteh, rather than a lap cat, a less understanding person than Pop may have sent me packing. I'd hate to have to deal with these harsh winters and hot summers but I'm sure I'd do fine.
Puzzle, y'all! |
My art also came from a video still. You can see my "widdle" tongue as I seductively lick my lips, a throwback to my twerking days. I love that the paint created the illusion of TW's blood dripping down the wall.
This will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.
Your Pop has a photogenic finger!!
ReplyDeleteFlynn was always chirping and chittering, not just playing but when he was walking around too. He would yell at the top of his voice when he walked around the garden, but never made a sound out in the fields so he wouldn't frighten the mice away. I am sure there must have been some Siamese blood in his distant past.
Great art, and thanks for the puzzle.
CK, did you bite Pop's finger after it got in your shot? Photobombing fingers surely deserve corporal punishment. And you, Evan, and Tonks could all probably have a wonderful conversation while playing with your toys. Evan likes to walk around with his favorite toy in his mouth and very loudly wail, with said toy still in his mouth. Tonks does the same, but far less loudly than Evan. Eddy likes to sort of scream while playing, but her screams usually occur when she's zooming around and bouncing off of walls rather than when she's playing with a toy. And we hope you don't mind us saying that we think it's sweet that TW knows you so well, CK. Does she get any extra credit for knowing you so well? Purrs!
ReplyDeleteThose were great photos and a fun fingerbomb too. I enjoyed your answers CK!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that you included your Pop in your photos!! Great Fill-ins. We like your answer to #2!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the puzzle!
The Florida Furkids
Love your fill-ins and now I'm hungry for Chinese food. That's a great idea for dinner.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
Wonderful photos! I like your fill-ins … reading body language is something both genders can excel at, but it's usually TW - just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteCK; I give my toys hell all the time...apparently they don't listen to me, any more than boomer ever did, as this is a daily ongoing thing;). we are all very sad around here because the people's fave Chinese restaurant, closed. we could have wept ~~~~~~~~~ :( ♥♥♥
ReplyDeletehugs from dai$y =^..*=
"the illusion of TW's blood dripping down the wall..." Oh CK!
ReplyDeleteThe benefit of your dad's finger in the photo is that it directs the viewer's gaze to the beautifulness that is you! I like your menu choices but my dad does like ham & pineapple pizza.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better this week. I know we were both feeling less than 100% as the New Year rolled in.
Our peeps had Chinese last night for dinner....and we didn’t get any!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you found such wonderful peeps who let you be who you are too. Those are great bloopers! It's so hard to find good (free) help these days.
ReplyDeleteBut who would you bite if you were living on the streets?? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the clever placement of the watermark...I thought I was the only one who used that to try to cover up things I didn't want people to notice in my photo...MOL.

Talking to your toys is totally normal. Emmy does that too. Thank you for the kind words you left for me on the loss of Prancie. And thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you have such a wonderful forever home. You are a sweetie despite the biting thing. Thank you for the puzzle, it is just what I need right now to cheer me up. XO
ReplyDeleteMy human has ruined more than a few good shots with her finger too!
ReplyDeleteHee! Hee!! My Mom's finger shows up in a lot of shots too!
ReplyDeletegotta say your art is great this week and we sure enjoyd the puzzle! We have not done any for a while...its gonna take some time to get our speed back.
Oh..your fillins ROCK! Yes, I sing to my rattie. Ninja does not talk to his mice, Jo Jo does not talk to her toys, but Kozmo...he TALKS LOUD to EVERYTHING!
Purrs

ReplyDeleteLovely art!
ReplyDeleteWe are both lucky to have forever homes :)
So cute.
ReplyDeleteHola mi amiga CK! We like your humor in dealing with Pop's finger! And that is a cool art photo. Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you, Pops & TW a wonderful 2020 filled with joy, peace, vitality and a great weekly dinner menu for you!
ReplyDeleteEven with the finger bomb, that's a pretty awesome photo, CK! We love that you have such a great forever home there with TW and Pop. They are terrific people. :)
ReplyDeleteNone of my cats talk to their toys while playing. However, Sophie will carry her wand toys around through the house and meow/cry.
