A Front Row Seat to Friday

Hola kitties! Whaddup? Hope you have the best seat in the house to enjoy today's post. There's all kinds of art, fill-ins and foto madness afoot. The big news in the condo this Friday is the new computer that's still in the box. After over 11 years, our iMac is still going strong; but, unfortunately, we haven't been able to upgrade the OS and fewer and fewer programs are supporting our old OS. Bummer and deserving of hisses.

A Front Row Seat to Friday

We may be down for awhile but not out while the peeps are setting up the new Mac. I hope this blog isn't affected and we can still get posts out next week. I also hope everything is backed up and I don't lose any fotos or music in the transfer. There are a lot of files to get transferred so it may take a few days to get settled. If everyone will take their seats, let's get on with the show post.

A Front Row Seat to Friday

Shoko opted to see #3120 from March 2013. I know I'm just a little shadowy gray lump in this foto but apparently this foto session had a purpose. I'd gotten a new cat tree for Christmas. After three months, this was the first time I climbed into the top tier. I'm a diva and divas don't sit in the "nose-bleed" seats. Na mean? Divas usually get orchestral floor seats or special seating in the loge which I believe some higher-class places call the "dress circle." Of course, I don't have to wear a dress to sit in the dress circle. This was the first and penultimate time I sat up here. I felt comfortable enough to take a bath. TW dismantled the upper deck after a few more months. She knew I was too good to sit all the way up there.

A Front Row Seat to Friday

I had the best seat in the house as I sat on Pop's bed for this March 2017 foto shoot. There's not too much to say about my closeup beside how absolutely stunning I am and always will be. My closest guess it that #7978 was shot for a foto challenge in which the theme was depth of field. TW used the mackerel setting so the background would be blurry. For once it worked and I didn't turn out blurry too. Thanks to the Colehaus Cats for allowing me to feature such a stunning foto.

A Front Row Seat to Friday

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They think up the fill-ins and I think up the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it relates to number four. This was a foto from my adoption page on PetFinders which was probably my mug shot after I was thrown in the clink.

1. CK: I could really use some pork friend rice. Any kind of Chinese food would do. We haven't had any in weeks. Sometimes I think the peeps don't have it just to spite me.

2. CK: UCFCC is a charity that I like to support. They take care of our homeless cats by TNR'ing and feeding them. Any sick cats are taken to the vet and either brought to their trailer or put in frosted care until they're healed. They also have a Petfinder page for the cats who want to be rehabilitated. The organization relies on donations since it gets no money from the city.

I had to let TW answer #3 cos I've never broken anything in the condo except maybe a sweat. I've never even broken a Christmas ornament that I can remember. That's all on the peeps. They destructive.

3. TW: One time, I broke my ankle, and lost my job. The bitch who filled in for me decided she wanted my job. We are not Facebook friends.

4. CK: I wish that I had a home, when I was young(er). Being as I was adopted when I was older, there are no kitten pictures of me. The peeps can only imagine what a stunning kitten I was—and they're right; I was. They got a glimpse when they saw my CAP intake fotos.

TICKETS! WHO'S GOT TICKETS? Oops! Sorry you caught me scalping tickets for front-row seating to my artsy fartsy masterpiece.

A Front Row Seat to Friday

This painting of my front-row window seat is my early entry for The Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum which provides a platform for anipal artists to showcase their latest digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn you into a regular PiCATso.

Do you have a front-row seat for the weekend?

  1. Good luck setting up the new Mac! My human hates that part when she has to do it.

  5. SqueeEEEE! Photo 7978 is indeed Stunning, as you know!

Our Mom's MacBook finally bit the big one late last year for similar reasons. We don't think she's ever going to get over it because she laments every now and then. Nothing worse than a lamenting human.

Great fill-ins this week. What a stunning kitten you were! LOVE your art photo. You peeking around the blind is . . . yes, STUNNING!

  6. Broke your ankle? Lost your job?
This sends shivers down my spine and I'm so sorry it happened to you.
Glad I was able to continue to work after breaking my left hand, because I'm right-handed, and our I T department was able to provide me with talk to type software. WHEW!

  9. Great photo choices, especially that close up. Thank you both for these great fill-in answers. I am sorry TW broke her angle and lost her job though :( I am impressed you have never even broken an ornament- I have a feeling you have broken skin with that biting though :) That does sound like a wonderful charity. Your art is beautiful, I like that effect. Good luck with the moving computer files. Have a nice weekend!

  10. Yikes...new computers are fun, but scary! Good luck to Pop and TW, and tell them to watch the HBO words ;) (We took your mewsical meme challenge today!)

  11. You want us to believe that you've never broken skin when you bit TW?!? That counts as something broken in the condo! I hate breaking in a new computer - I'm so un-tech savvy that it's usually a disaster.

  12. We hope all goes well with setting up the new computer. If TW and Pop are anything like our humans, get ready for some HBO words. :)

  15. #7978 s the epitome of stunning. You art is fabulous as well. Now is wishing she had some pork fried rice. She makes it at home sometimes, and as she has a pork chop in the fridge, she thinks she knows what she's facing for dinner. We probably won't get any. Have a good weekend. 17. We wish you had meet TW and Pop when you were younger too. We bet you were the most adorable kitten ever. But we are so thankful you have the purrfect home to showcase your stunning self now. Good luck with the computer.

WE LOVE LOVE LOVE your idea of hiding a cat in the scrapbook pages, Mommy usually tries to put a butterfly in them (that's her signature thing) or a cat, dog, rabbit or some 4 legged critter. But sometimes she doesn't succeed. We shall endeavor to remind her and give it a try at least in a few pages.
