Laugh! I'm on Candid Camera

Hola kitties! Did you know tomorrow is International Moment of Laughter Day? I hope reading my blog provides you with a moment of laughter three times a week. I try hard to be the jester to make you laugh—or at least smile. My Friday free-for-all should entertain as I tussle to find a happy medium between the Foto Frenzy, Friendly Fill-Ins and Art. I hope you'll find something to tickle your funny bone.

Let's start with some fotos. I'm on Candid Camera even when I'm sleeping.

The Tabbies o' Trout Towne chose #289 from either October 2008 or May 2010. Dunno for sure since anything goes with TW's numbering system. Somehow the same foto shoot has two different creation dates. I'll bet it's the earlier one. It is what it is. I'm stretched out like a salami with half of me hanging out of the cat bed with my "famous" paw thrust out. Look how muscular that paw is too. No leopard sheets today. Pop was using his boring yellow ones. Pop loves when I stretch out with my paw out but TW thinks I might have my neck stuck out cos I can't breathe. I'm still here so I can breathe. She has so much trouble saying I look cute.

For foto #848 I was fotographed on the kitchen table which is in the dining cubby which is only called the dining cubby cos the table and china closet were both in the peeps' old dining room. The condo is one "big" room with a hallway that leads to my two bedrooms. TW was trying to read the newspaper after Pop went to bed so I jumped on the table to see if she was eating anything help her. As she's wont to do, she got out the flashy box so I would leave. I didn't. Instead she snapped a bunch of fotos with and without flash. We had a similar session the other night. When I was younger, I always held out hope that I could innerrupt her enough that she'd play with me. Now I just go to sleep on my gym. She feels bad enough that she'll walk over to pet and kiss me. She should feel guilty. Thanks to the Florida Furkids' Allie, Raz and baby Noelle for selecting this foto from February 2010.

Rumor has it we're running low on requests for fotos. In the comments, simply throw out a number between 19 and 8350 and I'll add you to the queue. It would be nice to see some of my new followers join in the fun, along with those of you who have been playing. Each week we run two unedited fotos from the list, give you a shout out and tell you a bit about what's going on in the foto.

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They think up the fill-ins and I think up the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it relates to numbers one, three and four. I'm gonna let TW answer number 3, since I have furrends and not friends. After reading her comment, neither does she. I hope she isn't too long-winded and doesn't start crying and stuff.

1. Blogging keeps me young and it's the biggest bond I have with TW. The downside is it also keeps TW too busy to play with me.

2. Good content and a belief in yourself is the secret to blogging for 10 years. I'm celebrating my 10th Blogoversary later this year. It's hard to believe I was only a few years old when I started blogging as an offshoot to my Twitter account but there were things I needed to say in more than 140 characters.

3. A friend who you have to be careful what you say to them is not a friend. You should be able to say anything to a friend and even if they disagree, they'll know where you're coming from. You should be able to joke with friends without them taking it the wrong way. I have about 185 FB "friends" but I can count my real friends on two thumbs. You have to work hard in a friendship and I guess I don't work hard enough. I'd rather spend time with cats than humans.

4. Right now, I am thankful to anyone who read this blog, be they furrend or foe.

It's time for the art portion of our show post. I added some brightness to this graffiti art from several years ago. I'm surprised no one has graffitied over it but it's much too stunning for anyone to try it. I picked this piece showing a moment of laughter on International Moment of Laughter Day. It was originally titled "Brick and Molar." Get it?

I'm gonna tell you the woofie jokes I was laughing at so you can get a chuckle too. What do you call a dog in winter? A chili dog! HAH! Why did the dog chase his tail? He wanted to make both ends meet! Bada bing! What happened when the dog went to the flea circus? He stole the show!
