Stunning Face and Shiny Furz

Yo Kittehs! Today I had an inneresting post half written about February being Feline Fix By Five* month BUT their people decided not to respond to my messages axing for more info. Apparently they chose more "important" bloggers than myself to spread the word. You know what that means? Poo on them. Their loss.

Since we don't have another post ready for today and TW has been having a serious writer's block, we'll just do a Foto Frenzy. Boooo! Yayyyy!

First up is #7808 which hails from January 2017 and was chosen by Summer Samba, the famous therapy cat and cat model. My 2016 Secret Paws' package contained a pretty handmade crocheted blankie. Pop set it on the chair next to his at the table. I've spent many a happy Sunday morning sleeping on it. We wanted to show our furrends how much I loved the blankie although the fotos were never published. Of course I also love my Spitty blankie and the one I got this year too.

#1018 isn't what it looks like. No cat was hurt. I wasn't looking to stick my paw into the electrical socket or even chew on the wire. I thought I smelled something good in the garbage—perhaps I was searching for my pal Oscar the Grouch. However a human may have been hurt cos that looks like blood over the Tidy Cat. HAH! In case you're wondering, we don't use Tidy Cat litter. Apparently the cats before me had it in their boxes but the pail is now our glass and plastic recycling bin. Those pails are in demand here. The porters and maintenance people use them to keep their supplies in. Thanks to Meowmeowmans and the Animal Shelter Volunteer Life gang, including new sweet black panfur, Ava, for axing to see this one.

* Feline Fix By Five. A study by PetSmart in 2011 revealed that three out of four pet parents had no idea when to neuter/spay their pets or thought it was six months or later but in January 2016 a group of veterinarians met to consider the idea of recommendations for the best age to sterilize cats. They came up with the recommendation to schedule the surgery at the end of the kitten vaccination series, typically between four and five months of age. It was endorsed by lots of prestigous organizations and thus the Fix By Five movement was born.
