This little ghetto kitteh likes to play the field although there are a few man cats who make my heart a-flutter when I see their picture. I'm not gonna name them but everyone knows my feelings toward Buzz Lucas and Parker Kruse. These orange man cats make no secret the feeling is mutual. They've sent me Valentine's saying simply I. Love. You.
Now there's a cat food for those romantic dinner dates. My restaurant, Chez Keisha, serves I and Love and You® grain-free cat food for lovers or just cats looking for love. I'm proud to be a #ChewyInfluencer cos I get to sample different brands and textures of cat food. Ordering for a restaurant is difficult and Chewy makes my job easier. This month's selection is the I and Love and You Variety Pack Grain-Free Canned Cat Food, 3-oz, case of 12. Three recipes are included in this pack: Chicken Me Out®, Oh My Cod!™ and Purrky Turkey™.
Of course, I had to serve I and Love and You food to my diners on Valentine's Day.
Before anything goes on my menu, I read the ingredients to make sure I'm giving my guests optimal nutrition to keep healthy and active so they keep coming back for more. Anyone who looks at the image above will see that this is good stuff. This food is high in protein and made with whole, deboned meat and real fruits and vegetables. Cats don't need fruits and veggies but it's nice to know they're real and not Memorex. (Anyone remember those ads?) Each natural recipe is also free of artificial preservatives, flavors and colors and contain no fillers or by-product meals; plus they're gluten- and grain-free without carrageenan and—strike up the band—
Since I'm a Pescaterian, I ordered the Oh My Cod! from the menu. I have to be perfectly honest with you. These pâtés are dry and stick to the spoon when TW dishes it out. I like my pâté to be moist. TW has to add at least three teaspoons of water to a half can which kinda waters down the flavor. I licked up the half-full plate of cod nonetheless but barely touched the chicken. Judging from the reactions I've heard, my diners did like this food and their tips reflected that.
Boodie and I would probably like this.
ReplyDeleteWe got this too!
ReplyDeleteWe like our pate moist too CK!
ReplyDeleteOld man Mr. Chivers likes his food a little on the moist side. Mom adds a tiny bit of water to his food. The youngsters are finicky cats. Mom loves the ingredients of this food or lack of. We have to eat grain free cuz Old man Chivers can't handle the grains. Thanks so much for the review! Purrs
ReplyDeleteLook at you chowing down, CK! Us kitties over here tried this food in the past. We're picky, though, and refused to eat it. Isn't that a shame?
ReplyDeleteVery informative review! Sorry you didn't like so much.
ReplyDeleteI like the naming, though. Oh My Cod! :-)
Thanks for your honesty. We like super moist wet food and Clyde likes it like a slurry!
ReplyDeleteCK, what a nice place you have there! Thanks for the review; one never knows what food a kitty will like.

ReplyDeleteWe’ve tried these and thought they were pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI prefer my food nice and creamy. No chunky stuff. Too bad it's not rabbit or I'd try it.
ReplyDeleteWe love their dog treats, but the kitties haven't tried any of their cat items. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteMy cat Jake likes his food moist. He probably won't eat this. Thanks for the review.
