To be perfectly honest, usually when we participate in a photo challenge or hunt, we comb through the archives and use old shots. This year we're taking new ones.
TW bought a cheesy sign in the "dollar and up" store figuring she could get some good shots. What she got was a blooper reel. In this first shot, I'm examining the sign and finding it inadequate.
She took the pics in the middle of the night and didn't want to use the flash to wash out my eyes. Instead, she "washed out" the entire series of pics I think she thought this was the Pet Blogger Bloopers Round-up that we did two years ago. Through the magic of Photoshop, we saved some of them.
This first photo shoot had the sign crooked and came out so bad, she decided to do another one a few nights later when I was awake. In true TW fashion, the two pics from the second session are first.
I wonder if she can take the cost of the sign off her income taxes?? Heh heh.
This pic was from yet a third session which featured a Godiva heart next to my igloo. When it comes to arranging props, TW gets an F. At least these shots are slightly more in focus. I dunno which of these should be the official challenge entry. They all look like bloopers to me. Which one would you pick? Don't forget to do the hover thing to read what I'm thinking.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about taxes, CK... if your human had bought the sign in 2017, she might have been able to take the $1 off on her taxes. If she bought it in 2018, she probably can't.

I like the 2nd picture the best, but the ones where you are sleeping are cool too. You used the Godiva heart for a prop, tax deduction, cha-ching. I like the sound of "tax deductible chocolate" ;)

Come on BFGF, give TW some credit. At least she tried...heck Mom L hasn't ever never bought a prop for me. We wanna do this monthly photo challenge. I'll check in with the host to see what is required.

ReplyDeleteThe second picture is our favorite! We don't get light in our condo either. Half of it is underground ... and the other side faces the courtyard with a building on the side of it. We get very little light. The only good think about that is that I don't have to wait for a certain time of day to take pictures ... I have to like or lump it 24/7.

ReplyDeleteWe actually had a similar experience when we tried to get our kitty Sam to do this challenge with us (our prop was a pillow that said "LOVE:....blurry photos, etc. That's why we ended up going to the dogs! :)
