First 2018 Fotos, Flashbacks and Fill-Ins

Welcome to the first Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy of 2018 featuring your favorite Friendly Fill-Ins. Today's fotos were taken years ago but they were picked recently by friends who are making their first picks. Let's see if they made good choices.

First 2018 Fotos, Flashbacks and Fill-Ins

Foto #275 was taken in May 2010 and chosen by Dezi and Raena Belle from Dezi's World. This was the very first cat bed TW bought for me after I moved in. I loved it! It was just foam covered with fake lamb's wool so it eventually started to fall apart. I always waited so impatiently when she laundered the covering. I can't even count the beds I've had—and given away—since then. There were pink ones, flowered ones, leopard ones and low donut beds to name a few. In fact I just won a new bed which I've yet to occupy. TW hadn't learned yet about getting down to my level to take fotos so I have to look up. Anyhoo, check out the paw curl! If I were judging, I'd give it a 10.

First 2018 Fotos, Flashbacks and Fill-Ins

Too bad foto #831 didn't show itself last week when I talked about the Tunnel of Pain and TW used a foto of a different tunnel.  My new friend Annie from McGuffy's Reader wanted to see this one from February 2010. Over 200 fotos later and TW still hasn't learned to get down to my level. Whoa! The Tunnel of Pain (TW's pain, not mine) was new and I haven't seen our floor so clean and shiny in years. All roads have always led to my TofP. My TofP has started showing it's age a bit of late but it's still in great shape much like myself. Unfortunately, my tunnel got picked up because of Fraser. Don't tell the TofP but I enjoy running and hiding behind Fraser too. He's a fun tree.

First 2018 Fotos, Flashbacks and Fill-Ins

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They make up the fill-ins and I make up the answers. TW may answer the fill-ins differently and sometimes today I share a couple of TW's answers along with my own. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it's number two.

1. My guiding word for 2018 is stunning! Another good word would be thrive. My stunningness makes me thrive.

2. A house is not a home without a cat or two or more.

3. I look forward to TW really decluttering this year. Every year she makes a revolution to throw out at least one thing a day but the longest she's kept it was through March. Her idea is if she throws out two things one day, she's free and clear for the next. That's not how I see it.

4. I really need to put my paw down, because if I don't, TW will spend all her time on her Facebook page and not get anything done. She actually believes she had friends.

Join me Monday as I unveil a new monthly feature. New endeavors are always so exciting.

  4. Mom says Spring is the time for decluttering. She had better not touch our stuff, gotta start hiding now. Can't wait for Monday's surprise. Purrs

  5. Stunning is a great word for you! Decluttering sounds good in theory, but it's so hard to actually throw stuff out sometimes.

  6. That paw curl is definitely a 10. Nice photo choices, I still haven't learned that trick to get down to your level- I will have to try that. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Stunning is definitely your word. I had the same answer for #2. I need to declutter too, well, more like make my hubby get rid of some stuff. Have a nice weekend! XO

  7. Ooh, that bed looks very comfy. Fake or not, lamb's wool is cozy!

  8. Oh that's a good idea for decluttering. I ought to do that myself... although I bet I'd still have too much crap by the end of it. MOL... Happy New Year CK.

  9. Great fotos as always CK. Ya' know, we got one of those tunnels last year and mommy has yet to take it out fur us. We're gonna have to have a meow or hiss at her 'bout that. MOL Can't wait to see what your new feature is. We're workin' on that as well. New year and we're tryin' to shake things up a bit. MOL Big hugs

    Luv ya'

  10. Sounds like you finally met the Fraser of your dreams, CK. There hasn't been much tree-related drama this year anyway. Since The Boy moved in, Momma's been going through years and years of junk and tossing stuff out. She has to do a little bit at a time or she gets quickly overwhelmed - she also needs to be in the mood too ... if she's not, she'll come up with a reason to keep everything!

  13. You looked very comfy in that bed. Most of my earlier photos were looking down on Eric and Flynn instead of getting down to their level.

  14. CK, I have the same beds as the day I arrived...and I still use them all too! Maybe I need some new ones... Mommy is all about decluttering lately too, and she's getting really good about throwing stuff away lately. I'm almost afraid to go near a bag or box when she starts hauling stuff out the door! --Mudpie

  16. Your first cat bed looks very comfy and you do look quite content with paw curl there :-)
I so agree that a house is not a home without cat(s)!

  18. Well, I do believe that all cats are stunning...and some dogs. *wink* Great pictures, of course. Homes look better with cat...and dogs. Decluttering is an art...and a skill. I wish you luck with that. I finally just gave up sorting. If I don't use it, it goes!
About John Prine. I love him for who he is. We all have a story. Some are especially good at telling them! Hugs.

  19. Happy 2018! My assistant also has the decluttering goal! She always starts out in one part of the house - like a closet, but thanks to the other humans, it becomes cluttered about two seconds after she declutters.
