Maybe your human is trying to wean you off kibble cos she knows that wet food is healthier though not as tasty. This Chewy Influencer is gonna meow about chow that's both a good midnight snack or a topper to dump on top of kibble to add some moisture.
Last year, I told you about the Wellness CORE® Simply Shreds™ Grain-Free Wet Cat Food Toppers. I reviewed the Wild Salmon & Tuna recipe. At the time I gave it a tepid review cos I'd only had one or two pouches. I went on to really enjoy the remaining pouches to the point where TW added to our Chewy autoship.
When Chewy sent around their January influencer picks and we saw Wellness Simply Shreds were again one of the choices, TW decided it would be the perfect time to see if I liked one of the other recipes. She ordered the Boneless Chicken & Mackerel. Trust me, it looks nothing like the picture on the packaging which actually looks like Chinese food. I've been slow to warm up to it but with each pouch I get, I'm eating more and more. I'm not a chicken eater, with the exception of human food, so I I'm never gonna say it's my fave food ever. I like it fine. So why does TW buy me so much chicken when she knows I'm a pescatarian? And why does she like feeding me these toppers?
Wellness CORE® Simply Shreds™ Grain-Free Wet Cat Food Toppers contain 90% moisture and come in four recipes: Boneless Chicken, Wild Salmon & Tuna, Tuna & Shrimp and Boneless Chicken & Mackerel. It's billed as "a great snack to be added to a complete and balanced food diet." Each recipe is made with simply four ingredients or less—100% natural with no grains or fillers and contains about 32 kcal per pouch. It can also be used as a topper for wet food or kibble.
TW has been giving me a small snack before bed so I keep my moisture level up and my throat doesn't dry out and cause my asthma to attack me. The fact that this food has no additives and the pouches are so tiny make them perfect. She can pour the entire pouch in my dish with no leftovers to put in the refrigerator.

ReplyDeleteThat yum looks darn good CK!
ReplyDeleteSounds pretty good! I bet my Olive would love it.
ReplyDeleteThe kitties haven't really enjoyed this product, and the humans dislike how easy it is to squirt juice when trying to open them, and then having lots of stuff leftover in the package after dump out.
ReplyDeleteAHA! That's why TW cuts the pouches open and she uses a spoon to get everything out of the pouch. It's like a pomegranate. You have to work to get the yum out. And I'm worth it.
DeleteYou sure deserve the midnight snack. I like the simple ingredients!
