Hide and Seek With Fotos, Facts & Fill-ins.

It's been a busy week in the condo. Last minute doctor's appointment—for TW, not me—that was a waste of valuable time and other stuff to keep TW busy. Plus, I have a guest coming to see me this weekend so TW has to do some cleaning. We wanted to do some simple posts this week but it seems whenever TW is planning on a simple post with few words, we wind up with an evergreen post. That's how our post about caffeine came about as well as the hiccup post a few months ago. Have I got you ready for the Flashback Friday Foto Frenzy and Friendly Fill-In spectacular?

Hide and Seek With Fotos, Facts & Fill-ins.

Do you see me hiding behind the shower gels and other voodoo junk? 15 and Meowing is on a roll. We've published a few of their picks the past few weeks. They picked #6603, from April 2016. I wasn't looking to use any of that stuff cos I don't need it. My tongue is my shower gel and I'm stunning so I don't need makeup. TW was prepping a foto shoot for a Blog the Change post on her favorite *ahem koff* beauuu *koff*—come on CK you can say it!—beauty *koff koff* products. They're all cruelty-free with no animal ingredients or testing. Unfortunately, they don't work on her. She thought she'd have to 'shop me in but got a couple she could use. This was one of the best of the eight even if she cut the top of my head off.

Our Kitties Blue furrends over at The Cat on My Head selected #3210, which was taken back in April 2013. You may think I'm in my office cos I'm scared but you'd be wrong. First of all, this isn't my office. I've never been fotographed there since TW can't get into the box spring. In this instance I had just finished a game where I run from one end of our small condo into Pop's room at the other end. I love when TW waddles after me. Sometimes after we go back and forth a few times, I run UTB. TW always thinks I've forgotten it's a game and I get scared that she's really chasing me. That couldn't be further from the truth. TW doesn't scare me one bit. Truth is I'm playing hide and seek with her. Out of over 7000 fotos, we only have a few where I'm under the bed so she quickly shot half a dozen fotos of me for future use.

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They make up the fill-ins and I'm happy to provide the answers. My answers are truthful, so help me Cod. I can't speak for TW since she lies a great deal. That's why I don't let her play along.

1. I can't wait to eat the main attraction, TURKEY on Thanksgiving.

2. My favorite kind of pie is PIZZA with lots of chicken on it or maybe chicken pot pie. TW says she makes a mean pumpkin pie and Pop seems to like it but this cat doesn't.

3. This year, I am particularly thankful for my health. Since we started using the Venta® airwasher back in June, I've been free of asthma attacks. The links in that post are affiliate links, which will get you get a discount if you use it.

4. A funny holiday tradition in my/our house is the 3-lb chocolate turkey. Yep, it's yuge and it's chocolate. Pop orders one every year. I'd like to know if anyone has a funnier tradition!

Tomorrow's art post is gonna be a little different but I think it will still be enjoyable so stop by. How are you preparing for turkey day and what are some fun traditions at your house?

Would you like to comment?

  1. Actually, I think hide and go seek is a really fun kitty game! Just about every kitty has played it with my human. Which concerns her because if there is ever a disaster and we need to evacuate, she is worried I'll decide that's a fun time to play that game.

  5. I buy only organic, cruelty-free stuff too, CK! And lucky for me, I've found a nail salon that only uses the same kind of thing, so I feel good about getting my fingernails painted red!

  7. A box spring?!? Now I REALLY want to see you in your office, CK! We used to joke that Bear's office was my desk chair - but since Ellie got here, he's quit laying in it. I'm glad to hear you and TW play the crazy chase game too. I don't know how Bear and I got started - but The Boy was horrified the first time he witnessed me chasing Bear from the bedroom to his cat tree corner - and him chasing me from the corner back to the bedroom, nipping at my heels. We always go back and forth a few times too. #crazyandNOTsorry #atleastIgetSOMEexercise

  10. We really, really like the photo we selected as well as the one selected by 15 And Meowing. Has your dad already ordered his chocolate turkey? Mom wants to know if they have dark chocolate turkeys? If so, from where does he order? Enjoy your real turkey, C.K. 11. A huge chocolate turkey. Well, that is a new one to me! It sounds like a funny tradition, though! I cannot imagine how someone came up with the idea, though. Well, enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving!

  12. We're so happy the Venta Airwasher is working so well for you, CK. Just thinking about your 3-lb chocolate turkey make us smile. And hooray for (REAL) turkey. Yum!

  13. The first photo looks like you are checking the cruelty free labels on those products. I am glad the Airwasher is working so well for you.
I don't like turkey, but that chocolate one sounds much better. We have rib of beef at Christmas instead of turkey.
