Flashback Foto Frenzy

Flashback Foto Frenzy

Are you having a stunning Friday? Unfortunately we're still listening to jackhammers and pneumataic drills all day long as they tear down the old factory beneath our windows. TW's computer chair has been vibrating and she says it's so loud she can hardly think so she's not responsible for typos, etc. I say Suck it up, Woman! My hearing is more acute than yours so whatever you hear, I hear even louder. Now on to the reason you stopped by today. I guess every Friday can be called Flashback Friday but today one of our picks goes way back.

I love this foto chosen my handsome tabby Brian. No, I'm not playing favorites since Random.org decides which fotos get published every week. #801 was part of a long shoot on our Tibetan rug in the living room. It was taken while I took a break from playing. There are 2 other shots that are almost identical to this one and some full-body shots too. TW loves to fool around with the mackerel setting in the flashy box.

Zoey and Gracie from Animal Shelter Volunteer Life wanted to see #3030. I have an off-again on-again relationship with Parker S. Kat, one of the Kruse Kats from Twitter. In 2013, we were definitely on-again and he sent me many, many Valentine's Day cards, some prezzies and a lock of his lush Maine Coon furs. I may look like I'm unimpressed but I'm just tired of a foto session that went on too long. I'm sorry that TW got her fat fingers into the foto.

Of course 15 & Meowing would chose foto #15. It's a natural. This was an analog foto from before the peeps had the kitchen remodeled. I actually like it better this way. It was very artsy fartsy. The decorative mirror was strategically placed so when you were in the kitchen you could see the NYC skyline reflected off another mirror in the living room. I'm laying in the midst of a cluttered table on a box that I hope contained something for me. This is Gramma's old dining room table which was too big for this little condo. The only things left from this foto are the curio which was also Gramma's and me. Everything else outlived its usefulness.

I hope you learned some stuff about me us and enjoyed this post. I always enjoy reliving these old fotos with you. You guys do a great job picking them. Can you believe we're up to 6300 and counting? I'll be back next week with the first Foto Frenzy of June. Is there a Memorial Day barbecue in your future?

Would you like to comment?

  4. Thanks for picking our number, I guess we need to pick #13 now :( Great shots, as always. That is a lot of photos to choose from. I am sorry about all the noise, that would drive me crazy. Maybe TW could wear ear plugs? I wore ear plugs to sleep for years because of my hubby's snoring, now I just go in the spare room, but they did work.

  14. We love your Flashback Foto Frenzies, CK. How cool that our number came up this week! Your commentary cracked us up. :)

Sorry to hear the demolition is still going on. Horrible. The widened the highway right by our house a couple of years ago ... blasting through rock, jackhammering, construction vehicles, etc. Ugh. Purring and praying for you, TW and Pop. Hugs.
