The Two Faces of Keisha

For the Caturday Art Blog Hop, I’m gonna take you on a tour of my two newest works. I tried two different methods this week. The first I created in Photoshop and framed in BeFunky and the second I made in BeFunky and framed in PS. HAH!

We’ll start our micro-tour with a stunning work of art created entirely in Photoshop, excluding frame. I used the paint daub filter and then added a Digital Drawing Peach action. Nothing fancy or difficult to do; just two simple steps. Then we found the purrfect grunge frame online. I considered adding a texture but didn’t want to muddy my masterpiece. I call it Bewilderment with Electric Whiskers.

Moving further down the gallery, you’ll find an impressionist work of art that I call Summer in the Rearview Mirror. It captures the current time of year even thought it’s still very much summer here in the tri-state area. On one paw, the painting is comprised of Autumn colors but I have summer in my shades. I found a frame to complement in PS default actions.

Both styles are totally different showing my different moods and personalities I think. I can be cutting edgy or classic Keisha. Do you have a preference?

I’m joining the Caturday Art Blog Hop, created and hosted by Athena and Marie. I’m inviting you to put on your virtual smock, get some virtual paints and join the fun. It isn’t hard to paint a masterpiece. Stop by and admire the rest of this week’s gallery.
