Beauty is in the Eye of You

I have no idea why it took TW almost an hour to find the perfect picture of me for this week’s PhotoHunt challenge “Beauty.” Oh yeah, she had to find one in focus. All photos of yours truly are pictures of Beauty, Grace, Elegance and Stunningness. Don’t you agree?

For my entry in the Caturday Art Blog Hop hosted by Athena and Marie I’m featuring some of my past Christmas cards. I still have some of these beauties from 2011 left over so some lucky cats of the blogosphere may be receiving them in their own mailboxes in the coming week. Old tightwad TW broke down and bought some global stamps so I can mail some overseas.

If you remember last week, I chided TW for messing up my 2010 cards because she didn’t know what she was doing. Does she ever? She kinda made up for it in 2011 although she didn’t use hi-res images so I still wasn’t totally pleased. I had a folded card and a flat card. As you can see, the peeps were going through a second childhood and believing in Santa Claus.

The folded card said “HO HO HO! You must have been really good for Santa to bring you Cathy Keisha” on the cover. I wrote the inside message: “Behold! / Oh this Day in Jersey City / A Kitty was born! / And this Kitty was named Cathy Keisha / And She was Stunning!"

The peeps wrote some sappy message on the back of the flat card. I’ll spare you. I think they sent the same card with the same sappy message only with their signatures to their friend and family.

If you click the cards, you can print them out original size although the originals didn’t have watermarks. Feel free to take them until I send my 2014 card. Both cards show the Beauty of Christmas. Which one do you prefer?
