On this Thursday, I'm thankful that I've been able to get window whiffies the past 2 days. The temperature in the NYC areas has been over 60˚F! Usually the highs for today would be about 28˚F. The peeps say this is not a good thing. They say it's called Climate Change and could be melting the polar icecaps. That sounds kind of scary since I can't swim. But, hey, I'm sure enjoying my whiffies.
Apparently some slacker forgot to inform the birds that it was going to be so warm out because there's no Bird-tv. What's a cat to do?
Yo, Woman! Get me some birds!
Usually this time of year I enjoy sitting by the window and watching the snow fall. The only measurable snow we've had since last winter was before Halloween.

And who dares to disturb me? |
Somebody needs to fire those birds and hire new ones! Slackers.
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy !
ReplyDeleteHere in the southern parts of Sweden it´s really cold now ,right now we have 14 F and here is snow too.
Your new window whiffies looks GREAT :)
Have a pawsome thursday !
It's the same thing here CK. I didn't get to have the window open for whiffles, but birdied TV hasn't been good at all. M says it's because there is no snow and the birdies can still find natural food around, which they prefer.
ReplyDeleteYo! Mom's not here to open the window for us! So stop your petty ass whining a out birds and enjoy e whiffes!
ReplyDeleteLove,
The Mags!
Hooray for fresh whiffies! I say let's just go right to Spring!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are excited that it has been a warm winter. It means that our heat bill won't be so high. Glad you are getting some window whiffies in. It is so fun to smell all that fresh air. Maybe the birdies will be there soon. They are off on vacation. Silly birds. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteIt's just Mr Jet Streem monkeying around, Cathy. It's going to get colder again for sure!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying the weather. I always wonder how some people cannot "believe" in climate change! I've also been enjoying wiffies in our sunporch watching the sqwerls drive me crazy.
ReplyDelete"some slacker forgot to inform the birds that it was going to be so warm " Ha..Ha...Ha...CK, I didn't know your woman has a lots of jobs more than other cat pawsons ! I'm sure from now on, she got the message ; )
ReplyDeletexoxo
Darling, You look stunningly beauteous today! But I wonder....could you not see my Manly self spread out gloriously for all to see? Did you think I did not post today? Do tell!
ReplyDeleteWe've had the windows open around here too. I got lucky and actually had birdies to look at yesterday!
ReplyDeleteIt was in the mid 60's again. and mom and I would perfer being cold. Mom's flowers are starting to bloom and that's just not right.
ReplyDeleteHey, CK, you look rrrrrraaaaveshing as usual, but particularly in this picture. You can really see the soft texture of your fur in the light.
DeleteHappy Friday!
Tom
pee ess: Thanks fur the award!
I see the flashy box was not able to sneak up on you CK. As Tom says, your fur looks very soft (like mine). We have not had snow cover 'cept for a couple of days, and the lake was only frozen over twice for a day, and then melted again. And this is Michigan! We aren't complaining; it is just very odd.
ReplyDeleteGood evening, dearest! Well, tomorrow I shall begin my SB preparation. The Human is supposedly going to a SB party (without me!!), but I will make her leave the TV on and set out an array of delicious snacks for me. I will dooze my best to root for your guys. Sadly, I can't promise anything about the Human.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above kitties, someone needs to round-up NEW birds that do the job right! Great pics of you CK! (We can't believe you haven't had alot of snow since Halloween, wow.)
ReplyDelete*sigh* No birdies here either. Our Mommies needz to call the cable company and tell them to add it cuz we OBVIOUSLY have bee OVERLOOKED this season, dontcha think?
ReplyDeleteAll righty, CK, Spitty has made good on his Giant obligation, MOL! I did not let Eli kick me around, but I might land in the arms of Victor C! Also, please notice the Royal Neckpiece in my sidebar!
ReplyDeleteOh, I think I'll be safe enough in Victor's hands. I mean, he doesn't fumble much, right?
ReplyDeleteCathy Keisha, you are looking mighty beautiful today.
ReplyDeleteSomeone obviously forgot to send those birds the memo about the weather! We haven't seen very many of them around here, either.
Cathy Keisha Congrats on your Giants winning the Super Bowl it was very exciting game. I was just able to get Mom to look at my blog and saw you left an award for me. I hope to get Mom to do it next week as there will hopefully be some time to relax after the Doctor checks on Moms progress this week.
