How cool is this? Both fotos were chosen by cats named Tuna! The Trout Towne Tabbies' Tuna of Moon chose #4925 taken in August 2015. This was one of five fotos taken under the cloak of dark when all I wanted to do was run through my tunnel. I'm waiting for her to shoot a foam rocket so I can tear through the tunnel and chase it and she's sitting there taking fotos. What kind of nonsense is that?
Now for a different Tuna. Tuna R'son Kitty is my right-paw cat. He's the head of my posse who's hobby is—well, look at his middle name. He chose #1031 cos that's the code for when FD has to send for an ambulance. The foto was from May 2010 and I'm up on my "soapbox" but we haven't a clue what was in said soapbox. Look at how huge it is! It better have been a cat tree or something for me. Wouldn't that be grand? Knowing the peeps, it was prolly another useless thing to clutter the condo. From the look on my face, the peeps aren't getting in there to find out.
The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and new co-hosts Four Legged Furballs. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it relates to number three.
1.Happiness is a full tummy and a roof over your head. Throw in some loving from Pop and a comfy cube to lay in and life is purrfect.
2. Ten years ago, I was an ordinary but extraordinary cat. I was a year away from starting my social media presence and no one but my peeps and vet knew me. I was a stunning cat without a career. Now, of course, my life is a whirlwind. I'm a celebriCAT.
3. Greenies
4. Most people don't know that I do love to get kissed on the top of my head. I even let TW do it. I also purr but only for Pop.
Since we couldn't reinstall my files in the new computer, we decided to upgrade the old one to High Sierra. That meant our old apps like Photoshop no longer worked without a helper file that TW didn't want to install. She decided it was safer to get a subscription to PS CC. There's a learning curve but she's enjoying playing.
One of the things she discovered was the super cool oil painting filter. So we used that for today's art. You might notice that I painted TW's paw even more pink and wrinkly than it actually is. MOL!
I'm participating in The Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to provide a platform for anipal artists to showcase their latest digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn you into a regular PiCATso. You don't think I actually painted this, do you? Well! I'm insulted! Of course I did.
I gotta agree wif ya on happiness - a full tummy and a warm place are all I needs!
ReplyDeleteMy human is still using Photoshop CS6 because she is too lazy to upgrade to CC (even though she could - she uses CC for everything else!). CS6 also has the oil painting filter, but it is probably better in CC.
ReplyDeleteYour oil painting is lovely. I can't decide if you are being offered a treat or checking TW's fingers are clean before you bite them.
ReplyDeleteA full tummy works for me CK and I love your photos. We use PS CC here too.
ReplyDeleteWe love the "friendly fillins" and all your pics. Cool filter too! Great oil pic. Now, let's get some treats everyone! Purrs
ReplyDeleteCK, you look fantastic back then, and now!
ReplyDeleteWe like top of head kisses too! We know we are loved when we get one. We are proud to know a real CelebriCAT! We enjoyed your post and loved the oil filter too. Human wondering if it was Painnt or Lunapic? Wishing you and yours a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Flashback Friday to all. We sure hope the next big package that comes for delivery. Is the big cat tree you always wished for. Don't worry they will give in one day. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWorld of Animals
You definitely had a lot to say today! We really do like that oil filter. We think we'll stick to Lunapic for now. MOm Paula isn't so sure she wants to take on Photoshop yet.
ReplyDeleteI like that filter lots! glad your computer is up and running.
ReplyDeleteThat pink and wrinkly comment made me giggle. You're so mean to TW. And she's even giving you a treat in that photo!
ReplyDeleteThose are good chosen photos! We think we might like the thought of chasing a foam rocket, whatever that is. MOL! Great fill-ins and wow, gorgeous photo! No, not gorgeous, stunning! (We'll get that right someday.)
ReplyDeleteThose two shots for the Tunas are of course stunning, CK! We're hoping it was indeed a cat tree in that big box. And, as always, you did fabulously with the fill-ins! You like being kissed on the head? Around here, Thimble and Evan love that. After three years with this here human of hers, Eddy is finally coming around to the idea of smooches. Oh, and you make a masterpiece of an oil painting, CK! Purrs!
ReplyDeleteOur humans do that, "let's play in a minute ... but take pictures now," nonsense too. Cats should never have to wait ... for anything! ~Bear Cat
ReplyDeleteYou like kisses on the head? There goes your tough girl image ;)
