Window Whiffies in February?

Yo! Before I treat you to my fotos, fill-ins and art … Ya heard? It was 78ºF in the NY area the other day. TW had all the windows in the condo open except the one in her room that only someone with superhero strength can open. The following night it was so cold we had freezing rain. Go figger. I'm an indoor cat so the weather doesn't really affect me but I do love when I can get those whiffies. TW didn't think there would be any allergens around or she may have thought twice before opening those windows. Heh heh.

Window Whiffies in February?

Foto #1818 isn't from our warm day in February, it's from June 2011. TW didn't take fotos the other day or you wouldn't see any green. This was a pre-asthma shot when I still got to enjoy whiffies. I was completely unaware of TW taking foto after foto. She never opens the window far enough for my entire body to fit in the opening so this is a rare opportunity for me. Even though we have screens, we're still four floors from the pavement. Thank you to Kitties Blue for choosing this foto.

#1000 actually ran in 2014 but I decided to use it again cos Eastside Cats chose it. You haven't seen HHGutt on this blog in a long while but TW caught me napping with him in May 2010. This is one of five fotos with me in different poses. I can’t believe I let him share MY pillow. Normally, I try to keep HHGutt off the blog or he’ll try to take it over. I love to lay with my head hanging off the pillow. Yes TW, it’s comfortable. These days HHGutt lays between my pillow and TW's pillow. She believes he's gonna stop me from attacking her.

Window Whiffies in February?

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They make up the fill-ins and I make up the answer truthfully. Every week they seem to be getting more political and I don't really know if I'm down with that. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it's #2.

1. My favorite president is Bernie Sanders because single-payer health insurance is saving the peeps lots of money that they use to buy me better food. Also, he's taming those Wall Street parasites and those new taxes on the wealthy are closing the gap between the haves and have nots. Oh wait, he wuz robbed of the nomination. [censored] The peeps said I should say my favorite president WAS John F. Kennedy. There's no telling the things he could have accomplished had he not been assassinated. It's downright scary to think if we'd all still be here had the Cuban Missile Crisis happened this past year.

2. This weekend, I have plans to sleep in and do some crazypants running. It's supposed to rain all weekend. TW better be up for the challenge of running with me even though she still has the dizzies.

3. I keep my toys nice and new looking. The only stuff I own that gets beaten up are my scratching posts. I still have the Tunnel of Pain which I got in 2009 and it gets a lot of use but doesn't look it. The only reason it's starting to sag is cos TW trips over it.

4. I believe that biting my peeps has kept my teeth clean and shiny so I haven't needed a dental in years.

Anybuddy want to see some CK art? Um, anybody??

Window Whiffies in February?

This autographed heart art is my entry in The Caturday Art blog hop, hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum. Every Caturday, pop on over there to see digital art created in Photoshop, on one of the online photo editors or art that is painted or drawn by cats or humans with true talent.

  4. Love the art work, great colors. And what? Biting is helpful for us? We gotta get some bite bites on! No wonder baby Houdini our new furbro is always biting mom. He must have figured this out at the shelter from the other rescues. Thanks for the tip CK! Purrs

  5. I bite my human when I want to show her how much I love her or when I'm hungry, whatever. We did your 18 Amazing Facts meme and posted it today. She let me answer the questions so at least it should be interesting. Your brother in fur, Jake.

  9. HHGutt? Guess I don't know anything about HIM! Why do cats like to hang their heads while sleeping, CK? Thanks for sharing photo #1000...so I'll ask for #2000 next...lol!

  10. Great photo choices , you should let HHGutt help you blog sometime. That is funny that TW thinks he will protect her from you. We had window whiffs the other day too and now it is cold again. I am sorry that TW is still dizzy, maybe you could give her some healing purrs. I thought IO missed something on the first question when you wrote Bernie Sanders, I thought maybe I had been having a bad dream for a year :) Have a nice weekend! XO PS: Very pretty art.

I like your heart art, and also the pic of you looking out of the window.

  15. Pawsome art! We finally agree on something politically - Bernie was most definitely robbed! Mudpie enjoyed some window whiffies earlier this week too, but it only lasted one day. Crazypants weather.

  23. We didn't know HHGutt had been hired on by TW as a body guard. What are your thoughts on that, CK? Now, can you teach the kitties around here how to keep their toys nice and clean like you do? Toys here often end up swimming in the water bowl. And then there's housemate Toby, who likes to upchuck his food all over his toys. Tips would be greatly appreciated, CK. Oh, and your art is stunning, of course!

  24. We have been having very ODD weather here one minute we were having the COLDEST Winter in the history of South Mississippi and the next thing we knew it was Spring (and yeah we know it's still February) and the air is full of pollen and flowers are blooming all over the place. And it's pouring rain, poor Chimera got caught in the torrential downpour, everyone else made it inside safely. And you know what it looked like it was going to be a pretty sunny day when we went out. Oh we had no problem getting here from the link on the Caturday Bloghop.

  29. We have whiffies all the time now that we is back in droughtland again. We had barrels full of rain last year after 7 years of almost none, but now that's over. We are sick to death of the sun to be honest. We didn't really have any winter at all. Sigh. But there's certainly not no "climate change" or nuffing, right?

We gotta look into these fill-ins. That seems like something kinda fun to do. And really, CK there's no such thing as a bad picture of you. You are ALWAYs stunning XOXOXO

  30. Well, I had to LOL at some of your answers. Gotta' love a sense of humour. And the art? Stunning. But, of course. Hugs!
