Taking Care of Unfinished Business

Yep! This little ghetto kitteh is working overtime! I do it all for my fans. I know you're not used to visiting me on Saturday anymore but suck it up deal with it like TW had to.

Taking Care of Unfinished Business

Yesterday's post for the Appreciate the Moments photo challenge ran long so I didn't want to make it longer by including my fill-in answers that were already written. I must say I was surprised there weren't fill-ins like "I like to snack on _____________ during the Super Bowl" or "While ______ is watching the Super Bowl, I like to ___________.

Taking Care of Unfinished Business

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They make up the fill-ins and I make up the answers. This week I let TW help out on numbers one and two. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it's number two.

1. Trust your instincts. Don't ever trust a human.

Do you really want an answer to number two? I really don't want to alienate some of my readership. Sigh! Here goes.
2. I would protest everything that orange cheeto in the White House and the crooks he's surrounded himself with do. He makes TW and Pop very angry and that makes me angry. I've heard he hates animals and made fun of his veep for moving his pets into the veep house. Enough said. I could say I would protest an empty food dish but that seems so trite.

3. I have Pop wrapped around my paw since I helped him recover from his major major major back surgery. All those "majors" were his surgeon's words. He came home from the hospital 10 days after I moved in. I laid with him and got up with him but he couldn't touch me or I'd bite him. I was his constant companion.

4. Right now, I am sleeping in my igloo on Pop's bed while he's watching a movie on TV.

BTW, I like to snack on Pop during the Super Bowl.

I wasn't satisfied with yesterday's photos so I used my magic paintbrush to transform them into art.

Taking Care of Unfinished Business

Last week Marv Marvelous used some Photoshop Actions on his art which reminded us that we haven't used any of our actions in months—maybe years! TW first dyed my igloo pink and, yes, those areas showing blue are deliberate so it looks more like a painting. We used a digital drawing action named Desire and then applied a Photoshop texture which looks like a canvas.

Here's one where the igloo isn't dyed. We used the same Desire action but a different texture.

For this lighter one, we hid the original layer so you can just see the action and texture.

Well, that's all I got until Monday. Enjoy the big game if you're gonna watch it. We hate both teams and don't even know who's on the halftime show so it's prolly not someone we like. The Caturday Art blog hop is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum. You can see digital art created on one of the online apps, Photoshop art and art that is painted or drawn by those with true talent.

  1. The humans here hate football and the Super Bowel, so my human is glad there were no Super Bowel questions.

And that typo? Maybe not a typo!

  4. We love how TW dyed your igloo in your art this week. The head peep only has Elements, so has to do that stuff by hand, which means we mostly don't get it done for us. Enjoy your anti-football evening. We're planning on snuggling the head peep and having her read a book.

  5. The only bowl going on in our household is the Kitty bowl on the Hallmark channel. Dad is from Germany and he says our so called football has no foot work at all. Soccer is his game. Cool colors used. Purrs

  7. Great fill-ins! And I really like the art. We don't watch the Super Bowl but I wouldn't mind all the snacks that usually go along with it!

  8. Thank you for working overtime to get your fill-ins done, I enjoyed your answers. I had not heard about Trump making fun of the veep for moving pets in with him, that is so mean. Anyone who doesn't like pets stinks. I think it is so cute that you are so close to your Pop. I like how you changed the colors on your teepee. Have a nice weekend! Enjoy those Superbowl snacks.XO

  9. TW is so talented. I wish Mom L could do that stuff. Great fill ins. I might try joining some of the regular events in Blogville again. If I can keep,up visiting more consistently then maybe I'll get back to a couple more posts a week...tiny paw steps here.

  10. I definitely agree with your answer to #2. Football, yuck! I live about a half hour drive from the Patriots stadium, far enough away so I can avoid football until they are in the playoffs, then it's EVERYWHERE. Great art this week.

  11. OK, I Marvelous WILL be watching the football game. Mom wants to see the commercials, we are supposed to get some of them in the Great White North this year! (Usually they are blocked) Mom will be working and she will have the TV on for "Background noise".
We won't make fun of your President. He is too weird for words. ]And Mommy wants to thank you for your healing purrs. They are hoping he will be well enough to have an MRI on Monday so the Drs can determine what they can do.

  12. I love your art! I agree with you on #2, and if our government don't stop arguing amongst themselves, we could end up with one almost as bad.

  13. Liked your fill-ins. 2. makes me quite happy to be Canadian and not have a cheetoh as a representative of the country.

Your art work is awesome....what a great job.

  15. No Super Bowl here either...but the NASCAR season begins next week!!! I think your Pop's back surgery deepened your bond, don't you?

  19. Great fill-ins, and wonderful art, CK ! We're sorry for our lack of comments last week, but Claire had a very busy week, and she finished it with an awful migraine from Friday evening to this morning. Purrs

  21. Beautiful artwork, as always. I agree with trusting your instincts. That has literally saved me.
Per #2. I am not into negative energy from anyone. Your reference to an UNTRUE Trump Quote is sad. People are too often ready to believe negativity. Protest the negativity. If it is wrong for one to say or do something, it is wrong for all. Be the Change. BE what you want others to BE. Peace begins in you.
