What's Sketched, Pixelated, Soulful and Symmetical All Over?

What's Sketched, Pixelated, Soulful and Symmetical All Over?

Welcome to another CK one cat art show. This week I'm going to show you how I create my art. It doesn't magically appear although I do it in just two simple but time-consuming steps. Each work takes weeks to finish. I was really excited about this art and this post until I created art for the next two weeks. You won't want to miss them.

I like to start with a sketch of my subject, which is usually ME. I pull a pic outta the archives, get out a pen or pencil and make it my own.

What's Sketched, Pixelated, Soulful and Symmetical All Over?

First I roughly sketch it out. Stunning!

Next I add some dabs of color! Perfecto! You can click on the art to biggify it.

Hope you enjoyed my art which is part of the Caturday Art Blog Hop. Thanks to Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty for hosting it every week. If you'd like to see more Caturday art, click the link or the badge and check out the other kitties showing their artwork this week.

Window to the Soul was the theme for this week's Pet Photography Challenge. Even though we had some older pics, TW decided she was gonna go all out and take some new ones since the purpose of the challenge is to enhance your picture taking skills. In TW's case, she's going backwards.

What's Sketched, Pixelated, Soulful and Symmetical All Over?

This is the soulful part of the post. She put the camera on super mackeral—sounds tasty, doesn't it?—and turned the flash off. We wished the shots she took would have come better but it is what it is and TW's little old hand prolly shook. Still you can even see the window reflected in the window to my soul, which is a nice touch. I wish she would have cropped this differently cos my nose looks like Jimmy Durante's.

3 Lil Owls Photography Challenge's theme was Symmetry. I didn't even know what that meant. TW did but didn't know what direction to go. First she though she could use the mandala that's hanging over the tv but I demanded to be this week's pic. Then she I remembered the ipawd did fancy tricks with the pics. She could mirror me! We used some fancy-schmancy filter to art it up and it's gotten some good reviews from the resident artists and pro photographers. We've gotten double the "Likes" we had last week.

I love this photography thing and posting them here keeps me honest. TW actually considered not posting for Symmetry. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure about some of the upcoming themes but we're not gonna wimp out. We will persevere. Anybody know what "Leading Lines" are?

The answer to the post's title is ME, of course.

  6. You look punctuated and sandy. You look....different CK. I especially liked the two headed you. This looks familiar. I think this is the art effect that sent me on strike. TW did a much better job than my mom. We can tell it's you CK. Very well done, TW.
