Lookit the crowd! My PiCATso show is the biggest draw of the year! We've had to turn people away. The critics love it! The museum crowd loves it! It's where the celebrities come to be seen. I can feel the love!
I'm here to tell you, I'm the real PiCATso. I know you've seen those postcards and stuff but those are fake. No one can paint like Keisha PiCATso. I am embarking on the Cubism phase of my career. I've told you in the past how cheap TW is. Brown oil paints were on sale so I'm also going through my brown period. I guess it could have been worse like yellow.
Against the wishes of the
I'll start with a few from my new cubism period. I'll call it the mystery app cos I don't remember which one.
My "blue" period courtesy of the second Dreamscope filter. I like how the Dreamscope filters "Picassofied" the background and left The Cat largely untouched.
The Lunapic filter is more "classic" PiCATso. It doesn't have some of the features we associate with the master. I don't think PiCATso when I see it.
Which of the different interpretations is your fave? I know I have mine.
I'm participating in the Caturday Art Blog Hop. Thanks to Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty for hosting it every week. If you'd like to see more Caturday art, click the link or the badge.

This week's photo challenges.
Doorway was the theme for this week's Pet Photography Challenge. I would have loved to use one of the pics where I'm on the top of the door but the rules state it must be a recent photo. To offset the graininess of this one, we converted it to black and white. This also makes it more dramatic in my stunning opinion. Since it was taken at night with the ipawd, we also had to lighten and despeckle it although that really didn't help.
TW is getting discouraged with the professional challenge. She feels inadequate and out of her league. I've been telling her that for years. I think as long as she uses pics of The Cat, she has winners.
I'm gonna have to put my thinking cap on to figure out what to post about next week. TW isn't being much help. She's too busy barking and blowing her nose. Cos of all the vitamin D3 she takes, she hasn't had a cold in years but she missed a few days and now she's suffering for it. Not my problem.
Here's to a happy, healthy weekend!

I love the cubist art! They really do look arty and not photograph-y.
ReplyDelete#1 is my favourite, but any picture with you is sure to be stunning.
ReplyDeleteThose are all so wonderful CK, we always love your stunning art!
ReplyDeleteDarn right you're PiCATso, CK! Your work is nothing short of stunning. This here human actually really likes the color brown, and so your brown phase is a huge hit here. And of course we also love your entries to the photo challenges!
ReplyDeleteCK! Yous and TW has outdone yourselves this time! Mes purrticularly likes the 3rd one. It is reminiscent of Duchamp and Braque. Mes also LOVES the doorway photo! Marvelous!
ReplyDeleteMany Kisses
Nellie
I like all your artwork, CK, but the second one is my favorite this week!
ReplyDeleteTell TW not to try to compare herself with the others. It's just for fun, and a chance to become better at taking photographs, right? Oh, and we agree ... photos with YOU in them are always winners! :)
Wonderful art ! What a crowd, it looks like you're famous ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteCK, it seems as if all the petcretaries are sick. Our mom is wretched. She's hardly had any sleep in days as everytime she lies down, she tries to cough out all her innards. We liked all your art this week, but #2 and #5 are our favorites. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
ReplyDeleteI like your blue period piece. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHope TW feels better! I think the first and second PiCATsos are my faves :)
ReplyDeleteWe empathize with you, CK. Jan has been annoyingly loud this past week too. Your art is good.
ReplyDeleteWe like your blue period, CK. You're a real arteest!
ReplyDeleteI love the mystery effect, but they are all beautiful. TW is an excellent photographer and deserves to join the challenges. I hope she feels better.
ReplyDeleteCK you are absolutely stunning and we love all of the artwork and the photos TW is submitting are quite good!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat art CK. All are very pretty and interesting. But, my favorite is hte "blue period." Maybe it is because the blue tones to the best with your natural furs, and your natural furs are beautiful as they are. It's fun to play around with other stuff tho.
ReplyDeletebeautiful art CK!! catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteAll of your art is great but we like the first one best!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Fantabulous once again CK and TW. I couldn't decide which artistic endeavour I enjoyed the most....so I choose all of them.
ReplyDeleteShoko
Fantastic artwork! We can't decide on which one we like best.
ReplyDeletePurrs xx
Athena and Marie
CK, all your pics are outstanding, but I do like the Lunapic classic PiCATso one! The Staff has had to stop taking her D3 as she's having a "procedure" this week! For some reason she had to stop taking her vitamin supplements!! Go figure!! xx
ReplyDeleteThe blue one is my favorite, CK ... we LOVE it. Of course, any effect with a stunning feline will be stunning in it's own right ... and no human can mess that up ... not even my Momma! ~Bear Cat
ReplyDeleteGreat artworks! Each period has its own character but all look so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWell CK as you know we luv all your fotos and works of art. We're sorry TW's sick and sendin' purrayers and hugs fur all.
