TW Drives Me to Abstraction

TW Drives Me to Abstraction

HAH! I double dare you to come up with a better title for my Caturday art this week. Wipe your paws before you come into the studio. I just rented it for the week. As you can see from the paint splotches on my chapeau, I've been working hard at my craft. This kitteh is going through her abstract art period so you can say I was driven to abstraction. Who better to drive me but TW.

I'm not gonna get long-winded. These are two fotos from the ipawd that I decided to work my magic upon. My paintbrush is my magic wand. When it's in my paws, I can do anything or go anywhere through my art. I call the first one Blue Kitty Washing.

TW Drives Me to Abstraction

I call this one Let Sleeping Kitty Lie. It's not quite as abstract but I was already getting bored with the style. You know we have short attention spans and—wait do I see a spider??

TW Drives Me to Abstraction

No, it wasn't a spider. Where was I? Oh, I was about to thank Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty for hosting the Caturday Art Blog Hop so I can mess around with Photoshop and all the cool online apps that are so easy a cat can use them. If you'd like to see more Caturday art, click the link and check out the other kitties showing their artwork this week. You'll find all kinds of art styles and one of them is bound to catch your [cat] fancy.

  16. OMD, I hasn't heard from you in ages and I hads no idea you is into art! And that you blogs fur Chewy, too! Yes, you was one of my furstest Twitter furrends and we is both from a big house in Noo Joisey, BOL! So anyways, my wheels, well I is 15 1/2 years old now and my bad knee has gotten too wonky fur hiking after years of nursing it along with that Arthur Itis and all. So mom wanted to try a wheelchair to make hiking easier fur me even though they is not cheap and most dogs refuse to use them after their peeps spend all kinds of green papers on them. Not me, mom put me in it to get the settings adjusted and I did laps around the living room, BOL. It has infused new hiking life into me. I hiked 9 miles yesterday where I could barely hike 5 before my knee got worser! I can still get around the house and yard OK but fur hiking, the wheels is my ticket to the great outdoors now. So good to hear from you!

  17. These are really spectacular CK! Like Picasso's Blue Period, someday art majors will study CK's Abstraction/Abstract Expressionism period. Purrsonally, I would like to come over and study them even more closely . . . XOXOXOXO
