Something Old, Something New and Blue

Something Old, Something New and Blue

That's about the size and shape of my art this week. I knew I couldn't possibly top last week's psychedelic art so TW chose to throw something together that would look fun in my gallery. All the original pics were taken atop a tree that I didn't use much that wound up at A Call 4 Paws. Chances are I won't be donating the art.

The top two pics are the new creations. One is a cartoony type filter that looks like a fun coloring page and the other is a paint texture that we went ahead and framed. I'm not sure if either of them meet my specifications as good art but I'm TW's biggest critic.

The last one is an older piece I created about two years ago which I don't know if I used on the blog. This one is a more classic cartoon filter.

As far as something blue? That would be my new blue beret. As the artiste, I need the proper adornments. I did look up artiste in the dictionary and it applies to a person who is highly skilled in some occupation. I am a high-skilled artist. I also painted the wall since the last time I ran this template used this room in my gallery.

Check out the other kitties showing their artwork this week. I'm sure they'll be some you'll really appreciate. Thanks to Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty for hosting the Caturday Art Blog Hop so I can mess around with Photoshop and all the cool online apps that are so easy a cat can do them.

  30. I think these are all great, CK. You look so regal up on that tree, and I love how the second version of that photo makes it look like your sitting by a stained glass window or something of that lovely sort. Also, blue is definitely a great color for you. Of course, you make any and every color look good. Purrs!
