The Demise of Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty became Goodbye Kitty at my condo last week. Every year Pop and I get TW balloons for her birthday (which was Wednesday) since she already has enough material goods to open a store. I decided we should get Hello Kitty balloons. When they arrived, the porter brought them upstairs to surprise TW. We couldn't believe how big and impressive they were. We have 16 foot ceilings and they almost reached them when placed on the table.

TW took out her flashy box cos she couldn't wait to take pics. I wouldn't pose so she figured she could get Pop to assist over the weekend. She took a bunch of pics anyway.

Thursday the sky got dark and ominous. We hunkered down and I helped keep The Woman calm during a raging thunderstorm. Yeah, you read that correctly. I let her pet me cos she was making me nervous jumping and hyperventilating with every clap of thunder.

Finally the storm passed and we went inside and turned on the computer. We were both in the computer room when we heard

I think TW may have dropped a load. She cautiously made her way inside to see what blew up.

She looked around and didn't see any smoke or flames. Then she saw Hello Kitty was down. She was mortally wounded. Blood Air was gushing from her wounds. Both of her ears were completely blown away. The sight upset TW greatly but by the time I posted about it on my FB timeline she couldn't stop laughing. She laffed and laffed for hours. Every time she re-read my status update, she laffed some more.

I had to snoopervise to make sure the body was cold flat.

Hello Kitty was laid to rest after a somber ceremony attended by close family members.

The balloons may not look so impressive now but TW is happy that some of them survived.

I hope this post hasn't traumatized any kittens who may be reading Stunning Keisha today. I'm sure eventually I'll get to play with the remaining balloons. Anyone else like balloons?
