Wednesday Word—Sean

Wednesday Word—Sean

I hear you axing why am I standing here with a poster of this cat. This is Sean, from Brooklyn, NY. Sean's owner died leaving him in a situation that's all too common. Unlike other orphaned cats, Sean's owner's estate is paying maintenance on the apartment so Sean can continue to live there until he can find a new forever home. Obviously, this is not a permanent situation.

Last week I heard from Aunt Pauline. Her brother, Neil, has been feeding and visiting a recently-orphaned cat named Sean.

Wednesday Word—SeanPoor Sean had been the pet of one of Neil's friends who died of cancer earlier this month. They both live in the same building. This handsome boy desperately needs a home, or he may wind up on death row in some shelter. Neither Neil—St. Neil as his building manager calls him—or Aunt Pauline can take him so they've been contacting all their friends to no avail. Aunt Pauline reached out to this little ghetto kitteh hoping I—and in turn you—can spread the word on social media about Sean's plight.

Sean is approximately seven years old and is both friendly and has good litter box habits despite having lived in less-than-ideal conditions for quite some time. He's been neutered and lives in Brookyn, NY. As you can see, he's mostly white with brown markings on his head and a brown tabby tail.

Aunt Pauline has been in contact with the building manager who informs her the estate will pay for a vet visit so he can get any shots he needs and wellness evaluations as well as grooming so he'll be going to his new home nice and fluffy with a clean bill of health. She did say if he has any underlying health issues, they will have him put down.

I'm axing my furrends to share Sean and I'm hoping that someone will come forward and offer to take him even if he has an underlying health condition before he's PTS. We don't know how long they're going to let him stay in the apartment before they want him out to renovate, etc. I know the power and reach of social media so I'm counting on us coming through for Sean. For further information or leads, you can e-mail me at the addy on my Blogger profile or send me a FB private message or Twitter DM.

  7. Sad it is but hope all those commenting on this post will also be sharing on all their social media networks. Being sad doesn't help Sean. I will share everywhere I can reach including IG. Dad P has family in the NY area and they know people so we will be asking them directly via email to please share about him. Perhaps Miss Dorian Wagner of Cuteheads would share him on her FB page and then some of her drivers might see and share. Can you ask her ?

  10. Poor Sean! That is such a difficult situation. I can't imagine the stress he's under. He reminds me of my angel cat, Obi-Wan, who had the same type of coloring. Cinco, Manna, and I will be purring and praying for Sean!

And CK, Mommy did not gets sick for Shoko and Kalie's Mommy. The flu has been making the rounds at her office (and in Vancouver) for over 6 weeks. Mommy got run down with going to get Cinnamon, taking care of Cinnamon, taking Cinnamon back and then working lots of overtime to meet deadlines...its all her own fault that the bugs attacked her and forced her to rest....now if mes can only stop her from working this coming weekend...
