Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Everything But the Kitchen Sink

This week TW decided to throw caution to the wind and use everything but the kitchen sink in our art. She picked a photo at random where I was somewhat shadowed. She added a layer in Photoshop and added a style that turned me blue and purple. You can see that one on the wall above. That seemed to turn her on. Then she added a patchwork filter.

I suggested that it needed a frame. She didn't think so but I'm the boss 'round these parts. TW hates adding frames because she can never find funky ones. That's when the trouble started. We tried a different program and she had to experiment with everything but the kitchen sink they had. First she did something or another which made it purpler and added a frame that matched but she wasn't pleased.

Everything But the Kitchen Sink

We cropped it before we added the comic filter which added even more purple on top of those she did in Photoshop with a vignette frame. I was so full of filters, I could hardly stand up. Was she finished? No.

Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Lastly, came the obligatory pencil sketch which she converted only myself to black and white and added yet another boring frame.

Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Really, do you think all those filters were necessary? I'm stunning enough in natural Russian Blue although I do approve of the lead image.

I can't wait to see what everyone else has come up with this week! You can see them too thanks to Athena and Marie and their pawsome weekly Caturday Art Blog Hop. Even if you have no artistic talent, you can participate by using an online editor or template.
