This week TW decided to throw caution to the wind and use everything but the kitchen sink in our art. She picked a photo at random where I was somewhat shadowed. She added a layer in Photoshop and added a style that turned me blue and purple. You can see that one on the wall above. That seemed to turn her on. Then she added a patchwork filter.
I suggested that it needed a frame. She didn't think so but I'm the boss 'round these parts. TW hates adding frames because she can never find funky ones. That's when the trouble started. We tried a different program and she had to experiment with everything
We cropped it before we added the comic filter which added even more purple on top of those she did in Photoshop with a vignette frame. I was so full of filters, I could hardly stand up. Was she finished? No.
Lastly, came the obligatory pencil sketch which she converted only myself to black and white and added yet another boring frame.
Really, do you think all those filters were necessary? I'm stunning enough in natural Russian Blue although I do approve of the lead image.
I can't wait to see what everyone else has come up with this week! You can see them too thanks to Athena and Marie and their pawsome weekly Caturday Art Blog Hop. Even if you have no artistic talent, you can participate by using an online editor or template.
I actually like all these effects - although you are right, CK, you don't really need them!
ReplyDeleteAll y'all look pretty darn stunning CK!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly don't need to be enhanced, but all those effects are very cool!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's fun to "let it all hang out" - this is way cool - love the beret!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
You look stunning without any filters, but you also look stunning with them. I like the penultimate picture the best.
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely stunning in your natural way, but being a popular kitty, fans love to see any art made with you :-)
ReplyDeleteYour mom did great with these effects, but you also look stunning without them ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteI like what TW did even though you are stunning by yourself with no enhancements.
ReplyDeleteThose all look great but the first one is especially cool! (Love you in your beret too!!!)
ReplyDeleteSo very cool!
ReplyDeleteYour beret is very chic too...
Noodle and crew
Well, we think TW did really good this week. We love all of these. We wonder what she would come up with if she used the kitchen sink too.
ReplyDeleteCK! your Mommy is furry talented. If only mes could get my Mommy interested in doing some art of mes again...sigh...
ReplyDeleteAlas, shes been doing some little paintings, working on another spirit doll and making crocheted cat toys...when shes not been working or driving to gets or takes home the hairy slobbery sister...

Well, y'all know that our mom usually uses everything but the kitchen sink on our art, so, of course, we like yours. The pencil sketch is our favorite. Mom says the best frames are in photofacefun.com. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteWe like them all, CK, especially the one in the middle :) Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday :) <3
ReplyDeleteI like them all too ! Very creative !
ReplyDeleteJust stunning as always CK
ReplyDeleteThose are all great but you are right, you are stunning enough without!
ReplyDeletePurrs xx
Athena and Marie
Us cats are irresistible enough as it is to humans... add Photoshop and all those other software programs to the mix, its a wonder our humans EVER leave the computer! Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey kitties
ReplyDeleteCK, you are, of course, stunning in real life. So all that artwork is *nice*, but you're the star, as always. :)
ReplyDeleteDon't Cry for Me, Argentina! See, here I am! The Human gotted home around 8, about an hour before she expected to so I am allowed to come give you a kiss: X X X (okay three). I will try to read about your new litter tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteTW is masterful with PS editing and filters and layers. Mom L dreams of being able to do such things
ReplyDeleteCK you are gorgeous no matter what. We really like the first and third though.
