Wednesday Word—CatLadyBox

When TW received the November CatLadyBox, I was all like “ho-hum.” She’d gotten the first one to review a few months ago, and to tell the truth neither of us were overwhelmed. She did love the t-shirt and has worn it many times. Efforts to get me to pose with the box and it’s contents failed. When TW was a teen/young adult, she used to get subscription makeup boxes—two different ones if you can believe she wore makeup—and she so looked forward to getting them. They cost well under $20 and contained almost $100 worth of samples every month. I guess she had impossibly high expectations for the CatLadyBox.

CatLadyBox has grown and the latest box lives up to her expectations. Owner and founder Dorian Wagner got it together. You may know Dorian from Your Daily Cute, Santa Paws Drive, Cute Transport Network, and she even wrote a piece which featured this little ghetto kitteh as a Twitter cat to follow along with such luminaries as Sockington and Baby Patches).

This was before TW checked out the contents of the box. But I digress. Lemme give you the 411 so you can check it out for yourself. There are many, many subscription boxes available for cats—all full of cat treats I don’t like and toys I won’t play with. This is the first box just for our female human. Each month the box is filled with unique and exclusive cat lady finds such as cat-themed jewelry, clothes, accessories, decor, books and more.

The CatLadyBox contains 2-3 items and costs $35 a month; the Crazy CatLadyBox includes those same 2-3 items plus at least 2 items for The Cat. This box costs $40 a month. I recommend this box cos why wouldn’t you want your cat to share the wealth? You can save on either box by ordering a 3-month or 6-month subscription that automatically renews. Lemme see what’s in this box. There’s a Cats are My Bag tote bag from Xenotees which comes just when TW was looking for a new tote bag although she doesn’t want to use it. Humans are so strange. I’ve staked claims to the Leopard Cat Watch from Tiniest Tiger Studios which you can see in the above pics  Rounding out the box is a sparkly Cat Outline Keychain from The Emporium, Catnip Drumstick from Housecat Club and Cloud 9 Cat Treats. Let the jury be informed that TW has not let me have either one of the cat items in the box.
