Christmas came two weeks early at La Condo Keisha when my December Cat Claws subscription box arrived. I couldn’t wait to open it and neither could TW. Unlike my Secret Paws package that still sits lonely and unopened under the tree, she ripped into our subscription box. OMC! Was it worth it!
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary subscription box from Cat Claws in exchange for my fair and honest review. No money exchanged hands (or paws). Cat Claws is not responsible for the contents of this post. I only share products that I believe in.
Before I get to the spoiler and the giveaway—did I mention I’m having another giveaway?—I’ll refresh your memory about what Cat Claws™ is all about. They were founded in the mid 1980s by Bill and Gale Seliskar after Bill, who owned a corrugated box company, noticed their cats loved to scratch on samples he would bring home. Now you know the origin of the corrugated cardboard scratchers that so many of you love. Bet you didn’t know that. We did cos our Autumn loved those scratchers. TW would buy them in shipments of 10 a few times a year.
We can vouch for the quality of their products. I’m still loving on Nicky’s old pink cat tree (see above) and dedding toys he left me. They also feature items that are available for a penny when you place an order. My peppermint stick was one of those penny items. I’m not that into the nip, but I love love love their nip toys. Practically every image I post taken on Pop’s bed, you’ll see a peppermint stick or two nearby.
Cat Claws now has an all new Cat Claws Cat Subscription Box. It’s unique in that it’s bimonthly, meaning you get a box every other month. Being a blogger, we were never able to sign up for any of those other subscription boxes because we couldn’t afford them every month. For $24.95 plus postage, you’ll get a box filled with toys, treats and other cat products along with special coupons and offers. Boxes are shipped in December, February, April, June, August and October and you can cancel at any time prior to shipment. You’ll get your money’s worth each and every month. If you post a pic of your cat with their new Cat Claws' loot on their Facebook page, you could win a bonus item in your next Subscription Box.
Cat Claws was kind enough to ship their December box to this little ghetto kitteh AND provide one of their February boxes as a giveaway to one lucky stunningkeisha.com reader! The February box will be filled with Valentine’s love for your cat or their special man- or ladycat. That’s a hint to all my special mencats. Heh heh!
The December box was festive: filled with treats, toys and even something for TW. Let’s begin with the large brand new Scratch n’ Cuddle Bed which holds a Grand Scratching Pad. What cat doesn’t like to nap inside a cardboard box? The high sides contain the catnip and cardboard crumbs from the scratching pad so your human's not vacuuming them up every other day. Always the diva, I’ve never preferred cardboard scratchers but love to sit in the Scratch n’ Cuddle Box.
Speaking of scratchers, Imperial Cat has a great program for shelters and rescues! You can send Scratch ’n Bits affordable scratching pads in either of three sizes to your local shelter at discounted prices. You can also purchase a 36-piece cat toy grab bag for $35 which is $15 less than retail.
What cat doesn’t want a new toy for Christmas and the December Subscription Box includes my favorite nip toy ever!! I now have a new peppermint stick to add to my collection. Their organic nip is the best I’ve drooled on, bunnykicked and bitten.
There’s also some nommy all-natural freeze-dried Shrimp Treats and one of their best-selling Linen Calendar Towels. TW has always wanted one of these and the 2016 calendar is gorgeous. Not only is it a useful calendar during the year but when the year is up, she's got a lovely tea towel to use.
Word! Here’s what you’ve been waiting for. You want the 411 on the giveaway so let’s get to it. Cat Claws has graciously agreed to send a February subscription box filled with Valentine goodies to one of my readers! You can enter for yourself or for a U.S. shelter. All you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter. No purchase necessary. Giveaway is open to 18 and over US residents only. Void where prohibited. Giveaway will run from December 23 and will end December 29 at 11:59pm ET. One winner will be randomly selected by Rafflecopter and notified via email. The winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize; failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize. Capiche? Best of luck to everyone.

Cat Claws is more than scratchers and toys. They also sell cat furniture, feeders and water fountains and most other items sold at other shops. You can also get some beautiful pet memorial stones, urns and candles to commemorate the fur children who sadly went OTRB.
