Rain, Rain Go Away!

Rain, Rain Go Away!

This is December and to date there’s only been one or two snow flurries. To make up for that, we’ve had rain, threat of rain or clousy* skies practically every day for months weeks. Everyone at La Condo Keisha hates it. Pop hates it cos no one in this area knows how to drive in the rain. His commute takes forever when one or more tubes of the Tunnel are closed due to accidents. TW hates it cos she doesn’t like walking in the rain to run her errands. I hate it cos it puts both peeps in foul moods.

TW went out in the rain Thursday to mail our Secret Paws package. When she got back, she opened her colorful umbrella in the tub to dry off while she changed out of her wet jeans. The Cat couldn’t believe she would change her clothes before she fed me even though it was obvious I was weak with hunger.

Rain, Rain Go Away!

When I jumped into the tub to investigate, TW waddled to get her flashy box. She snapped about a hunnert pics. Click. Click. Click. Click. I wasn’t too concerned. By then I had finally been fed and TW wasn’t flashing me.

Rain, Rain Go Away!

She still hasn’t gotten me to pose with her kitty umbrella. Heh heh.

I hope it’s not clousy* and rainy every day where you live.

  1. It has been clousy in Kansas too! But least it isn't snowy or icy.

  2. Around here in Southern California, we either get sun or rain for the holidays - never snow! Which is kind of a bummer when it's rain... which might happen this year!

  4. We have the same rain out here in Chicago. My assistant hates it and it makes her super grumpy. She's gone through about 3 umbrellas because it's also windy and they keep breaking. I keep telling her she needs to shape up and find some holiday spirit.

  5. It's clousy here, CK. It doesn't look like we're gonna have a white Christmas...maybe a wet one. :(

  6. Dang CK, we're supposed to have the monsoons coming back here too.

  7. We had some sunshine this weekend, but now it's back to clousy today for us too, CK. Maybe I wouldn't mind the rain so much if I had a cool kitty umbrella like your mom. Purrs!

  8. It's clousy and rainy here today, bleh! You sure look cute next to that umbrella! But I know why you don't pose with the kitty one, because you should be the only kitty in every picture, you're the stunning one after all!

  10. We have had a fair bit of snow, which the Mom does not like because everyone piles it up on the side of the street where the bus stop is, and then she has to climb over a snow mountain to get to the bus. That is when people actually shovel the sidewalk - a lot of businesses don't even bother, which makes things all slippery! And nobody here knows how to drive in the snow, either. Strange, huh?

We hope it stops raining there. The sun should make an appearance more often.

  11. It is clousy here also. Every day it comes down in torrents and when I go in the garden the water splashes up everywhere. Mum looks out the window every morning and tells me I don't want to go outdoors because it is persistent down again, or something like that.

  12. We have to confess we have confused humans. They both love the rain. It's rained here every day this December, so much so our area is on track to set an all-time record for December rainfall. Our humans are in heaven and we have to wear sunglasses in an attempt to stay anonymouse so no one points at us and mocks, "Those are those weird kitties whose humans like rain over sun!" Oh, the shame of it all!

  13. Rain, Rain, Rain, go away and come back next Spring. Yes, we've been having the same thing here, cept my peeps would rather have this than snow. We haven't even had snow to drive in yet this year - unreal M says. Loved your pictures. You are so pretty CK - smooch!

  15. CK, keep at it - it's now a point of pride not to be seen near the cat 'brella when there's a flashy box around! heh.

  19. We've had rain here for days now. We're supposed to get a day off from rain on Wednesday and then, snow on Thursday day and Thursday night! We had snow for Thanksgiving and now it looks like we might have a white Christmas too.

That colorful umbrella is very pretty. It complements your beauty! And the kitty umbrella is very cute, too. Though, none of the kitties on it is cuter than you, of course :-)

  22. It was a little rainy, but windy here today. Mom hates windy.
It's no wonder you won't pose with that cat umbrella. It's frightening.

  23. Rain....the wet that doesn't need shovelling. That's one good thing. Another good thing is its not so slippery you break your neck...otherwise we don't like it.
