Do You Feed Your Cat Like Nature Intended? Getting Wild With #NaturalBalance #ad

This post is sponsored by Natural Balance and the BlogPaws® Pet Influencer Network™. I am being compensated to help spread the word the word about Natural Balance available at PetSmart, but Stunning Keisha only shares information I feel is relevant to my readers. Natural Balance and PetSmart are not responsible for the content of this article.

I am the most picky eater known to cat or human. I’m so picky that TW gives me a few green papers and sends me to PetSmart to pick what I like. She trusts that I’m gonna make some healthy choices and now that PetSmart® carries Natural Balance® products, she’s sure of it.

I parked my car in front of our local PetSmart which is conveniently located next to our big box store. I’m sure you can find a PetSmart near you too. Time to Buy with Confidence!

Every single Natural Balance product—including the one I bought today—is backed by a Buy With Confidence guarantee to ensure pets’ health and safety. Each production run of Natural Balance pet food is tested in their Burbank, CA, state-of-the-art laboratory for nine contaminants before being distributed to stores. Don’t take my word—I don’t see why you wouldn’t though— you can look it up.

Ever since I wrote about their Wild Pursuit™ cat food, I can’t stop eating it. The Natural Balance aisle was my first and last stop in PetSmart. OK, ok, I did peruse the cat toy aisle too. So shoot me! Of course I had to visit the adoptable cats that are in every PetSmart store to say “Yo!” You can see some snapshots of my visit in the collage above.

Why would CK go out of her way for Wild Pursuit?

Cos CK is one wild and partially feral cat and proud of it! At nearly 10 years old, I’m still spry, active and love to run zoomies around the condo like a kitten and that’s cos I eat good food. The Wild Pursuit dry cat food was designed to satisfy my ancestral cravings by closely resembling the diet I would have eaten in the wild. After being indoors for so long, the thought of eating live prey sounds gauche but Wild Pursuit has me covered.

It features high protein, grain-free nutrition with minimally processed freeze dried raw pieces mixed in. Trust me, you’ll love those little morsels. I like them so much I pick them out and place them on the rug to eat them. Makes me feel wild and adventurous. Each bag also features a combination of three different exotic protein sources combined with grain-free carbohydrates that mimic the well balanced diet of cats in the wild without any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.  I’ve tried both the Chicken, Turkey Meal & Quail and the Trout, Salmon Meal & Tuna formulas. It’s worth mentioning that for kitties allergic or sensitive to fish (GASP!) that the Chicken, Turkey Meal & Quail formula doesn’t contain fish in any way, shape or form.

Wild Pursuit canned cat food is also available in three different formulas at PetSmart: Salmon, Herring & Walleye, Trout, Salmon & Tuna, and Chicken, Turkey & Quail and is available in 3- and 6-oz cans although my PetSmart only had the small cans.  Each can contains complete, balanced nutrition, high levels of animal protein, prebiotics and is 100% grain-free. They’re formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.

Natural Balance believes every pet has a unique personality worth celebrating and creates food worthy of that pet’s unique personality. When I left PetSmart with my loot, my unique personality couldn’t wait to get home to show off my purchase and perhaps inspire TW to put some in my dish. Her trust in me paid off.

  1. You know what? I used to be a super picky eater too! I refused almost everything. The Human would finally give in and buy me Gerber's because she didn't want me to STARVE. But in the last six months or so, I have become a MUCH better eater. I like a LOT of stuff now. So maybe the Human will try some of those better for me kinds again. I wouldn't go near them before, but now. . .well, who knows? Maybe I'd be wild for Wild Pursuit? P.S. I didn't drool on your pillow, but I did fur it up a little....

  6. We love Natural Balance, too, CK! It's really awesome that you and Carmine - both picky kitties - love Natural Balance. I love that their non-fish formula really doesn't contain any fish. Some companies try to sneak fish into chicken or turkey formulas, but all of Natural Balance's non-fish flavors don't have fish (which is good for Carmine since he cannot eat fish). :)
