Stunning Stained Glass

NEWS FLASH! This week I’m skipping the Saturday PhotoHunt cos the theme is family and I’ve devoted all too much time and space on this blog to the peeps. They’re not getting anymore—not without paying for it. This little ghetto kitteh don’t work for free.

I will devote all my attention to Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop. However, the images I made can also be part of Sepia Saturday over at Ruckus the Eskie and the Black and White Sunday at Dachshund Nola blog hops. Being the jet-setting superstar that I am, I’m gonna be hopping all over the world!

Today, I decided to do some Stunning Stained glass images. I started with a photo which was a little blurry. You can see the original on my FB page. We used the PhotoShop stained glass feature (image above), making the cells smaller to look more like pixels, and then added some Instagram actions. Hope you like them.

Instagram action for Sepia Saturday

Then, just for the hell of it, I decided to see what I’d look like as a calico. Hmmm, not bad.

And, here’s my entry for the Black & White blog hop. We made the cells slightly largely in this one.

Which is your favorite? I know which is mine.

  6. CK, your post just gave my human a headache - because the project she keeps failing at involves the Stained Glass effect! There is a way to bevel and emboss the "lead," but she keeps messing up because she is trying to do it with a cropped image.
