A Handy Week Ending Review

Take that and that, Woman!

It’s all about the hand. TW is distressed because of this. Anytime she’s near me, I stare at her hands. I always have to know where they are. She says I don’t trust her after eight and a half years, even though she’s never hit me. I say my motto is “trust no one.” Deal with it, Woman.

Whenever she’s near me, I keep watching where her hands are. If she goes to pet me, I turn around to bite those hands. She says she’s the one who shouldn’t trust me! Why I never! I should bite you for that, Woman! Actually, I do. Wednesday I got both her wrists.

I know for a fact that TW’s hands control the red dot! Why should I drive myself crazy running when I can go after the hand that controls it. Same with wand toys. I could jump or watch those old, arthritic hands.

I’m looking at the hand.

Am I the only cat who stares at the hand, rather than the wand toy or the red dot?

BITS AND PIECES

If you’re not on FB, you missed the big scare I gave the peeps the other night. I had a coughing fit about 6 a.m. Wednesday morning. TW didn’t know if it was asthma or a hairball. She’s had the windows open a bit because of the warmer weather so she was thinking asthma but it sounded like something was trying to come up. I kept swallowing. At one point, she thought I did frow up but I didn’t. She did try to use the inhaler on me. Notice I said tried.

After laying around most of the day, I perked up about 5 pm. TW couldn’t believe I had major zoomies. She says I can forget window whiffies the rest of the year.

Last night the peeps went to a meet and greet for the new condo management company and guess who was the star? ME! TW was handing out my card and everyone wanted to talk about ME. Even the Mayor! It’s not every day they meet the staff of the most famous feline in town. This little ghetto kitteh has come a long way from CommuniPAW.

Concatulations to Julie V. for winning the 20-lb bag of Cat Attract cat litter. You should receive it in a couple of weeks.

  1. TW just needs to get a pair of those stylish armpit-length gloves that the vet techs wear when I come to visit. ; )

I only go for the hands when uninvited ones try to touch my stomach. That's where I draw the line.

Waffles can't tell the difference between a finger and a fetch toy though.

Glad to hear you are doing well after the coughing fit. Zoomies are a good sign.

And how cool that you're the celebricat of Jersey! I'm certain the mayor was impurr-essed!

  5. I'm glad you're feeling better, CK! I've made some weird noises in the past, but they've been nothing special. BTW, I like to stare at where the red dot is coming from... which my human hates because she says I am not supposed to look INTO the laser and it's dangerous. So I usually don't play the red dot game.

  6. Tutu loves the laser pointer but has a tendency to stare at Mommy's hands which is dangerous (as Sparkle also mentioned).

We're so glad you are all better and doing major zoomies!

  7. CK we got the swallowing sickies too this week as I ate Spring grass. She was not happy as she had to run up and down 3 flights of stairs all afternoon as I was crook. Ho hum kept her fit. I play 'bite the hand that feeds' and she doesn't find it fun at all. Spoil sport she is. Have a fabulous Friday.
    Best wishes Molly

  8. Truffles isn't impressed by the red dot at all. She only goes for the hands when she gets overly frisky :)

No more window whiffies...the horror! But I'm glad you're feeling better :)

Cool news about your celebrity status too!

  9. OMG, Star totally LOVES the laser pointer! But Saphira, Nico, and Anya don't get the point of it, lol.

  10. I love the POW! picture :-) You are smart to know what's controlling red dot. My boys sometimes see toward my hand, but they go after red dot most of the time.

  14. Sorry about no more whiffies. That is furry sad. It is warm here today and we have the windows and doors open and constant access to the catio. It is great. When Mommy got up yesterday morning, she found that one of us had thrown up all over her slipper. She was really glad to find it before she went to put her slipper on. Have a great weekend. 17. Glad you are feeling better again. Mum won't play red dot with me any more because I watch where it comes from instead of where it is going.

  20. Sorry you were scaring everyone with your coughing or whatever it was. Tell TW to get some gloves. I know the red dot is controlled by M too. But, I don't go after her hand, I just sit and look at it and ignore the red dot. So far I've been playing with wand toys - that's about the only toy I will play with.

  21. We not only know who controls the red dot, we know what gadget makes the noise, and Pierre will dig in the basket that houses the remote controls for the red dot maker if it hasn't been out recently enough.

We hope you're all recovered from your coughing fit and ready to impress additional mayors from nearby townships.
