Newsday Tuesday and a Box of Goodies

After a weekend that included Valentine’s Day and the Blogpawty, which I worked as a DJ, I’m tired. So’s TW’s brain since she can’t come up with blog material again.

Sunday, we I made our my bi-annual donation to A Call 4 Paws. TW forgot to take a picture of all the stuff we I donated.  We I had a ton of stuff but Linda’s eyes really lit up when she saw the bag with the laundry detergent.

I’ve been getting packages ever since TW talked to the afternoon concierge. It’s like it’s my birthday everyday, except that TW hasn’t actually given me any of this loot cos she says I have to review some of it. Sure I do. Come on, Woman, fork it over before I get rough with you. I can mess you up good.

Today we had a situation which TW’s filing in her sieve-like head. As some of you know, some of my packages never make it to me. We’re not excusing [Ed: accusing not excusing] anyone. This morning, the concierge called that she had a package. It was addressed to her and not me. Yeah, what’s that all about. When she went down in the late afternoon, there were two packages, both addressed to me. She called to see if maybe the afternoon concierge hadn’t given her the package with her name on it and was told that perhaps Gus had made a mistake. Gus is a big fan of mine and he and the peeps often joke about how I get all the mail. He would say it was for me if it was. TW has an idea what was in that package and if it doesn’t come this week, she will rock the boat. You haven’t lived until you’ve heard TW "rock the boat."

One of the packages I received the other day was the PetBox I won at the New Year’s Eve Blogpawty. I never received the first box they sent but Alex was nice enough to send me a replacement box.

For those who haven’t heard of PetBox, it’s the only monthly pet goody box where you pick what’s inside. We didn’t get to pick, but listen to the loot that came in mine.

The only toy TW gave me, the Kong Funster was somewhat of a fail but I’m positive I’ll play with everything else. I bit on the rubber band but not the toy. However, the blue box the PetBox came in was a hit with me. TW loved the presentation of the box. They have boxes for dogs and cats and 4 plans to choose from. The best thing is they are partnered with shelters, rescues and volunteers. For each PetBox shipped, they feed a rescue animal.
