Neat Neat Neat

TW hasn't been doing her job and helping me post or visit lately. In lieu of a real post, we're participating in the Saturday PhotoHunt, even though TW knows nothing about the theme: NEAT!

Living room, circa 2007. It's a regular ad for Condo Beautiful magazine.

I'm not gonna mince words with you. This place I call home has become a pig sty! Of course, TW blames The Cat. She sez she spends every waking moment taking dictation and typing my blog. I'm not buying and neither should you. Everyone here has a blog but I bet NO CAT lives in a sty like mine. It's a disgrace. You might have noticed there are many more closeups of me recently. Yes, I've become more stunning; but TW can't risk showing off what this place has become.

This place has rapidly went to Hell in a Hand Basket, whatever that means. There's not one piece of furniture that I can climb on that isn't full of newspapers and clutter and it's not Pop's fault. Of course, she doesn't pile stuff on my cat trees because there would be circumstances which I'll leave up to your imagination.

Can you believe TW considers my transit hub as messy? Show them the table
top that you Photoshopped out, Woman!

Here's a gratuitous closeup—one of many she's taken recently—since I can't find any clutter pics. I fear they have all been destroyed. She's had to pass on multiple photo ops because she would have to document the mess. I think you can see it plainly in last year's Halloween video. I think I can work this to my advantage.

Woman, straighten up this place. Pronto—if not sooner.

(Er, why are you shutting down the computer. I'm not finished yet.)

  3. Looks neat to me.

Re: Your confusion. Apparently you did not click on the words "that train" or you would have been transported here: http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Driverless-Muni-Metro-train-takes-off-in-tunnel-4980800.php

which would have explained that a Muni train full of passengers departed the Castro Street station sans driver yesterday!

  4. You are right, CK, my house looks NOTHING like yours - it looks WAY WORSE! Which is why I am skipping this week's Photo Hunt for something my human knows more about: collecting boxes for us kitties!

  5. This seems to be a common malady among cat bloggers. Maybe we can run it up the flagpole and get a study started! MOL!

  6. Allie: HRMPF! MY human calls that "comfortable", if you can believe such nonsense.

  7. I have a great solution for Neat.
    It involves a locked door.
Maybe you'd like to stick TW in with Waffles. ; )
    That would be REALLY neat.

  9. The Staff is always cropping the photos so "stuff" don't get shown! She is too embarrassed. I say let the world see it all. In fact I've sent to Amazon for some thumbs and once they arrive ........ hehehe!!!

  10. If your home is a pig sty , I have have no idea what to call my home ?!

  11. I can't see much wrong with your place. It looks comfy, functional and lived in. If you want to see a bombsite you ought to pop over here, though definitely not if you've an allergy to dust! I'm a notional cleaner - when I get the notion I blitz and sterilise the place but it just depends how often the notion strikes.

  12. Great shots for this week's theme.

    Have a great weekend.

  13. We think your house looks purrfectly comfy cozy! Purrs from the Zee and Zoey Gang!

  14. Makes mom smile. She told me that humans always drape stuffs over the furniture when we live in a home. Always. Fear of furs? I think so.

  15. Don't feel bad CK, with 7 of us we really are unfamiliar with the word NEAT!

    ReplyDelete
  16. That looks pretty neat to us - both kinds of neat too. You should see this place - far from either neat!!

  17. Eh, CK...being neat isn't all that's it's cracked up to be. You gotta be comfortable, that's what we say.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Er...I must be a complete slob, cause that looks great to me!

  19. Hello my darling...I know that's an old picture, but might you be waiting for me on a couch right now? Even as my secretary types these words???

  20. That's neat. Neater than mine...
    Mine is up too.

  21. I dunno, CK, I think your place looks a LOT better than ours does! MomKatt only cleaned up her office last weekend - there's a whole OTHER part to the house left and she HATES dusting. *sigh*

    Purrz!

  22. Both our mom and dad are clutterbugs. Thank COD, they have never put anything on our cat trees. Our dad is the worst. Mom refuses to go into the office/den anymore. She now works at the kitchen router, which gets cluttered enough. Dad started cleaning out and straightening up last January, but at some point he just stopped. We used to like to spend time with him, but Mom won't let us in that room anymore. She's afraid she would never see us again. Do you think all humans are this way? Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  23. I'm pretty sure we could give you a run for the money. While everyone else is taking adorable photos, I have to vacuum up volumes of black cat hair. Hence, photos? not so much.

  24. My house also is what I call "an organized mess". I know where everything is but to anyone else it's just messy!
