Thankful Thursday on Friday

Sammy of onespoiledcat had a Sam-O-Ween costume contest that I entered. I usually don't enter contests anymore unless I can win moolah or a donation for A Call 4 Paws cos it's just too much work to drum up votes. It's also hard to root against my furrends. I recently met Sammy so I decided to go for it.

Anyone who knows me knows I play to win. There were two days of voting and I was campaigning hard. Unfortunately, I couldn't rally enough of my Twitter and Facebook followers. What the heck good is it to have 3000 followers if no one actually sees your Tweets in their timelines? Perhaps it was because TW didn't start our campaign until practically noon. By the time I voted, I already had 8 votes and I thank those pals.

In the hood, you had to look out for numero uno. No one is gonna have your back. I'm grateful for my furrend Cody and his Mom of Cat Chat with Caren and Cody cos they looked out for number 4, which is where I placed. They had my back. Cody told me that if he won, he'd give me his prize. The smart thing to do would have been to urge everyone to vote for him cos a vote for Cody was a vote for Keisha. While I voted for Cody, I still thought I could pull it out. Cody  came in second. I was overjoyed for him and for myself. Concats to Sushi for winning the contest.

Today, my loot came! Woohoo! (No thanks to The Woman who never went down to pick it up at the front desk, I might add. Pop got it on his way home from work.) The package contained a smousey with feather tail, Fat Cat Tail Chaser, Interactive Spring Time ball on a spring, catnip Temptations and a nice card with Sammy on it! Of course, TW's photos came out wanting and her video came out even worse. [Ed. note: You could have posed with your new toys like your friend, Sparkle would have. It's not easy to photograph a moving cat.] Did I ax you, Woman! Don't get your panties in a bunch! The dark photos are stills from the video which, trust me, you wouldn't want to see.
