The Cat in the Santa Hat Art
I decided to hang some Christmas art up. Do you think this is a nice one? Where should I put it? Right now it's just resting on the floor.
I messed around with the older image you see above which some might recognize as my Facebook avatar. Using the color textures sketch filter, I came up with this. I hate what happens to great works of art when we shrink them for this blog. #nothappy
Even though I'm stunning, I decided to airbrush this airwork using that same image with a different frame.
What would happen if I applied the solarization filter? Let's see. The muted colors are nice but don't try to mute CK.
I also wanted to share an image we created for the Tabby Cat Club's Wordless Wednesday. Yes, I was wordless. I put too much work into it to only have the twenty people who visit that site view it. We combined two images of our Christmas decor. Me in my Santa hat was shopped into the first image. TW, following my instruction, took an image with decorations atop the television and magic erased the tv screen to make it transparent. She placed the image I wanted on the screen on a different layer below the tv screen. Presto! I'm on television! I didn't make a painting or sketch of it cos it was created artistically in Photoshop. I think it's one of our most creative pieces.
Hope you enjoyed my art which is part of the Caturday Art Blog Hop. Thanks to Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty for hosting it every week and giving me a chance to mess around with Photoshop and all the cool online apps that are so easy a cat can use them. If you'd like to see more Caturday art, click the link and check out the other kitties showing their artwork this week. You'll find all kinds of art styles and one of them is bound to catch your [cat] fancy.
