Stunning Keisha only shares products and information that I believe are of interest to my readers. This month as a Chewy Influencer, this kitteh received Purina Muse Natural Tuna & Sardine Recipe in fish broth adult grain-free cat food trays. I won't lie; I tried these before only not this flavor. I liked the other ones I've tried and wanted to tell you about this food cos it doesn't contain nasty stuff like fruits and veggies, artificial colors and flavors, preservatives and carrageenan.
These are in tubs rather than cans or pouches. I like the tubs too for a couple of different reasons. The first is TW is clumsy and almost always spills half the gravy while trying to pull the top off. It's fun to listen to the HBO words she uses. I also like that the portions are small—these are 2.1 oz.—cos I rarely eat a lot at one time. Then there's the fact that the tubs TW buys for me—as opposed to the ones for the strays—are just meat and vitamins and minerals.
Here are the benefits of the Purina Muse Recipes in Fish Broth.
- The first ingredient is real hand-filleted fish
- Fortified with essential nutrients providing a complete and balanced meal
- No grains, corn, wheat or soy so it's a great option for cat parents that are concerned with allergies, obesity and digestibility.
- All recipes contain two proteins to offer a variety of protein sources for a cat
- No added artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives
- Sunflower seed oil contains omega fatty acids which aid in skin and coat health, promote circulation and a healthy heart.
- Added Taurine helps to support good vision and normal heart muscle functions
The flavors that are fish contain no hidden chicken and the chicken recipes don't contain fish unless it's listed on the front of the package. No surprises for kitties who might be allergic to one or the other proteins.
I requested that TW feed me outta the tub cos I wanted to make sure she didn't spill ALL the broth. Yum! This flavor is as good as the others. The tuna looks like human tuna, not some unrecognizable fish mishmash. Unless you get scraps from the table, this is the closest you'll get to eating what they eat.
Purina Muse also comes in chowder, paté, with toppers, in gravy, MasterPieces™ and dry. I'll be reviewing the paté in the next week or so.
The Farm cats do not like Muse. This was to the benefit of the cats at AniMeals
ReplyDeleteThese sound good!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a healthy natural option for canned food - their packaging is pretty cool too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks good but I think we need 10 oz cans. :)
ReplyDeleteHello CK! Happy Holidays! We are glad you received your Secret Paws package - we mailed it early in December to make sure it would arrive in time. We hope that you and TW enjoy your gifts!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great and glad you liked it :-) And design for the package is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like some pretty good yum CK!
ReplyDeleteOh no no ... spilling gravy will just NOT do. You spill my gravy, I'll sit on your doughnuts! ~Bear Cat
ReplyDeleteGood job CK. I'm sold and M said she'll pick up some to try on me. I know I'll like it tho cuz I like almost anything that has some juice to it.
ReplyDeleteMom hasn't seen this food in Canada, yet. We'll look for it or she we.
ReplyDeleteShoko and Kali
Those sound pretty tasty, CK. We've tried the Muse pate version and like it.
ReplyDeleteGreat review. My cats liked the one we tried.
ReplyDeleteThat looks yummy enough for a human to eat!
ReplyDeleteLooks like good stuff if you're what my mom calls a "predator" and eat chunky food. I'm allergic to chicken and fish so ..... I won't be trying those. But I do like the healthy ingredients. Too bad they don't have beef, lamb, or rabbit.
ReplyDeleteThose sound super tasty, CK! And we can see they were a hit with you. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat review, CK. We especially liked the cute MUSE graphics you did with the Christmas mat, MUSE and a contented cat! We're trying out a chicken brand but tuna & sardines sounds blissful!
ReplyDeleteWow....that looks DELICIOUS! We might need to get Mom to order some for us!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
No surprise that you are a muse! Looks yummy!!
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy. Glad you like it!
ReplyDeleteHello my darling girl! These sound interesting. I am usually quite the picky eater and the Human ends up tossing half the food she tries to give me . . . but like you I don't eat a lot at once, so we might try these.
ReplyDeleteThe Human is going to be gone all day tomorrow (thankfully not all night!) and I am going to be a little lonely over here . . . maybe SomeGirlKitty might like to visit???
I betcha that cat food is totally delish!! Mom L said I can't do food reviews 'cuz really...I will only forever eat raw. My pre-IBD condition demands that I stick with what is helping me keep the most nutrition outta my meals. You are so luck CK to get to try different canned foods...sigh
