The day started as any other. TW fed me a wholesome breakfast and then went to the computer. Instead of opening The Cat's blog or email, she started looking at NJT bus schedules. It was then I knew I was in for an adventure. I axed where we were going and if I could drive but she insisted we take the bus after all Earth Day was coming up. Destination: PetSmart! We were going to buy cat food!
This post is sponsored by Wellness® and the BlogPaws® Pet Influencer Network™. I am being compensated to help share the availability of Wellness Complete Health and NEW Complete Health Grain Free Cat Food available at PetSmart, but we only share information we feel is relevant to our readers. Neither Wellness or PetSmart is not responsible for the content of this article.
TW wanted to go to PetSmart® cos she had heard Wellness® reformulated their line of Complete Health™ Cat Food and added some new grain-free formulas! Since I eat 95% grain free, this was exciting news for both of us and worth the bus fare. I could now go back to eating the kibble of a brand I loved and trusted. What a way to celebrate The Year of the Cat! Who am I kidding? Every year is the Year of the Cat in La Condo Keisha.
Of course TW was late getting out of the house and we missed the first bus but did you expect different? Eventually we made it to PetSmart. Walking into that big pet store was like walking into a kitty amusement park. Every kind of cat food, treat and toy you could think of was within reach! At first, TW had trouble finding the Wellness Cat Food display cos it wasn’t where it was the last time she was in PetSmart but I was more than enthusiastic when I located it.
New Grain-Free Options
There are THREE new grain-free options in the Complete Health line: adult formula Deboned Chicken and Chicken Meal, Salmon and Herring Meal especially for indoor cats like me and kitten formula Deboned Chicken and Chicken Meal.
TW is very picky about the ingredients in the food I eat so it’s nice to know all Wellness recipes are free from corn, carrageenan, soy and wheat as well as artificial colors and flavors. Also, Complete Health Grain-Free recipes are formulated using carefully-chosen ingredients with added omega fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. After all “we are what we eat” and TW knows that if I eat healthy, I’ll live a long, happy life.
Fortunately for me, our store was sold out of the smaller 2.5-lb bags so I got the 5.5-lb bag of the Adult Chicken recipe! I would have settled for the 11.5-lb one but TW reminded me that she had to carry it home on the bus.
Five Signs of Wellness
Wellness Complete Health provides the nutrition to ensure a healthy skin and coat; healthy digestion; healthy eyes, teeth and gums; lots of energy and supports a healthy immune system. It's not called Complete Health for nothing.
The Wellness Difference is about being more than natural. It's not about what is left out—no fillers or artificial ingredients. True Wellness is about what gets put in—simple, pure, authentic ingredients.
They also have a line of Complete Health wet food which includes pâtés, gravies, minces, slices and morsels. There's a different texture that's sure to please your cat and, trust me, they make tasty gravies.
Celebrate The Year of the Cat by taking mass transit like we did or driving to your nearest PETSMART® to check out and purchase Wellness® Complete Health and Complete Health Grain-Free recipes. Your cat will thank you.

ReplyDeleteMy cats just started on this because I was afraid of the vitamin K content in all Rachel Ray's food. They seem happy with it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't every year the Year of the Cat? :)
ReplyDeleteGoodness! That food sounds like it was worth the trip on public transport. Alas, to get from the townhouse to the closest PetSmart is a 2 hour trip on 2 buses and a train, so I think I will take my car. You look marvelous CK!
ReplyDeleteLove Barb
i dont use the Wellness dog food, however, i do use one of the products, Holistic Select, they have the same cust service number and have wonderful cust service. if you sign up for the emails, both companies, they send you coupons every month.
ReplyDeleteI never tried Wellness before - but I'm very pleased so far. Holy cat, CK ... that's one snazzy bus! And you are the purr-fect model ... STUNNING!
ReplyDeleteSounds like they have a good variety of options.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it CK. Looks like you're one of da only kitties dat chose a food without at vit. K ingredient. Somepawdy sent us a bag, unfurtunately, it's got questionable ingredients, so mommy won't let us have it. MOL Our mommies sure are picky, aren't they?. And they call us kitties finicky. MOL Big hugs
