This is gonna be a fairly quick one from a cat with a lot to say. I'm a bit tired from the zoomies and TW is on the DL—that's disabled list for all you non-sports fans.
Today is National Sunglasses Day so I wanted to be prepared. Sunglasses protect our delicate eyes from the sun's harmful rays but they also make a fashion statement.
Welcome to Caturday where I show you some good art while you wait. I'm not going all out today I'm sorry to tell you since so many readers are away. I'm pulling out a few unpublished pieces I did at the beginning of the year on the ipawd. So stick around and view the gallery.
How many of you know it's Cat World Domination Day? Lemme see a show of paws. Everybuddy knows cats already own the Interwebs; what they may not all realize is we own the world too. Just like the great human Dr. King, my furrend Sparkle had a dream. Her dream was that Cat World Domination Day be celebrated as a holiday on this day annually. Sparkle may have passed on but her legacy, Cat World Domination Day, will live on. All cats are created equal but they are superior to humans.
This month the Chewy email for us #ChewyInfluencers contained so many food choices, I didn't know what to pick. I chose one and then changed my mind, then changed my mind again. Of course TW had to check out the ingredient list of each to see if she'd let me eat it with a clear conscience. Finally she decided since I told you last month about the Solid Gold Five Oceans Mackerel & Tuna Recipe in Gravy and it was such a hit with me, I should review the Solid Gold Holistic Delights Creamy Bisques, which comes in six flavors. Consistency is key for a blogger.

Welcome to another edition of Ask CK. Some have wondered where I got my mad radio skills. Many, many years ago before you or your humans were born, Pop had a weekly radio show. I was born to be in the public eye. While I do have other topics to address like why TW insists on giving me my FF tuna in the wrong dish (#senile), I've kept the lines of communication open with my readers and we had some really personal questions today.
You're the first caller on Line One today, da tabbies o trout towne. Turn down your radio or you won't be able to hear my answers.
What a busy weekend this is! I'm glad you have time to join me today at my art gallery. I've done an art piece to honor International Box Day and Veterinary Appreciation Day which are today and Father's Day and Garfield the Cat Day which are celebrated tomorrow. All art was done by myself using our new Paint and Sketch actions. Are you ready for some action?
Look, I'm on TV! Yesterday I was a radio talk show host and today I'm on television. If Howard Stern is King of All Media, I think I should be Queen of All Media. Move over Oprah! Let's get on to Foto Frenzy 483,677. Can you believe we've done so many of them? Neither can I.
Monday, I axed if you had any questions for me and, boy, did you ever respond. Today I'll be taking calls from my readers and answering your questions. There were some good ones; in fact, there were so many, I'm not going to be able to answer all of them today. We're live:
Yesterday TW
Today I'm taking my art outside cos the weather has been so nice. The world is my gallery! To celebrate I decided to do something a bit different. When TW takes a pic that's too dark, we use the Auto Tone or Auto Color to brighten it. That, in fact, takes the yellow out of pics with artificial lighting. If it's still too dark, we try the levels adjustment. Occasionally the images will turn out usable and sometimes they turn out artsy like my lead photo on Wednesday.
Thank Cat it's Friday. Friday is the best day of the week cos it's the last work day for most of your peeps and it's time for Foto Frenzy. This one is extra special since it's the second Friday of the month which means I'll be joining the Pet Blogger Bloopers Round-up. Believe me, there are some fun bloopers this month.
Cue the dramatic artsy photo:
If I look incredulous, it's because I am.
If I look innocent, it's because I am.
How do they know what I'm thinking?
How can they know what I'm thinking?
If I look incredulous, it's because I am.
If I look innocent, it's because I am.
How do they know what I'm thinking?
How can they know what I'm thinking?
Wednesday night started as many nights do with TW watching the Yankees lose and doing crossword puzzles. Finally around 1 a.m. it came time to play with The Cat. In the blink of an an eye, the "game" turned violent and I found myself fighting for my life. A "noose" around my neck. I couldn't breathe. I staggered around a little and then …
Every year I marvel over the fact that there's a special day for
Yo! Are you ready for Friday?? Are you ready to pawty? Are you ready to get frenzied? If the answer to any of those was YES then you’re ready for Foto Frenzy, our regular Friday feature. Today's date was immortalized in the old song Ode to Billie Joe. You've picked some pretty great fotos again this week.
It's no secret that the best place in the condo to photograph me is in Pop's room; specifically on his bed.
One of our favorite sessions was held on the very bed in 2010 when I first started blogging. That session produced the pic that graces the header of this blog. TW thought it would be fun to recreate that session on Monday. The setup was the same: Pop's bed is stripped and his sheets in the washer and I was laying at the head of the bed. The blinds were open and the light was shining through so no flash would be necessary.
LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION!
