Welcome every cat to another Saturday PhotoHunt theme pawty. This week we have another challenge that is made for cats. Feathers. What cat doesn’t like playing with feathers? We all do. We may not all like catnip but we like feathers.
I took the top image, from my review of the Bird Catcher Pro EX wand toy from Cats Can Play. I’m eying that robust feather but truth be told, after the novelty wore off, I never played with it again. I’m more of a peacock feather cat. In fact, I should be a spokescat for peacock feathers. I know I’ve turned many a cat onto them.
Stalking a peacock feather is one of my favorite past times. I love having them dance underneath some tissue paper or under a box that I’m chillin’ in.
Once again Athena and Marie are hosting the Caturday Art Blog Hop. We didn’t have time to do anything special in PhotoShop so I worked my magic online. I usually don’t match the art to the theme but I figured, what the hey.
BTW, for anyone thinking TW is organized because she numbers her fotos, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Her numerical system is a total fail cos when I needed a feather pic, she had to go through thousands of numbered pics rather than look in a folder labelled “CK Playing.”
I can’t wait to see everyone’s art today. I promise I’m gonna make TW visit today. The wash and vacuuming can wait. My furrends can’t. You guys come first. Soooooo what’s your favorite feather toy?

ReplyDeleteMy human's photo filing system is a bust too - it's organized by month and year, but with no tags, so if she is looking for something specific, too bad!

ReplyDeleteI should make folder by category. I only sort by dates, so finding particular photo can take really long time.

Mice with feather butts are our favorite cat toy. We hopes to experience a Peacock feather one day. Actually Mommy wants the entire peacock.

ReplyDeleteWell CK you definitely look INTERESTED in that peacock feather.....we've heard DaBird is the EL PRIMO feather toy but we don't have one. Mom's mean like that....but maybe Santa will bring me one? You never know...I've been TRYING to be good just in case.

Our favorite feather toy is the Bird Catcher Pro. Our favorite bug toy is the Neko Birbug.
With the look you are giving that feather, it should be very afraid. My favourite feathers are on the end of my nippy carrot.

OMC CK weez hav dat toy too, but weez didn't weally like it at all. Cuz.....weez not like feathers. MOL Mommy's been wantin' to get us a peacock fedder to see ifin weez wuld like it, cuz weez not like all those little stiff fedders. Luv yous foto.

CK, you know I have only one fave feather toy...you turned me onto them. I cannot live without them. I will not play with much of anything else except them. Mom almost did a 'hit and run' on some guy standing on the BART train platform yesterday cuz he had a WHOLE bag filled with nice long peacock feathers. He buys them at that craft store,Michaels!!

That looks like a great feather to play with. I think Mario must be the only cat in the world that doesn't like playing with feathers. I'm thinking it might be because he has no teeth and if he picks up a feather in his mouth, it must feel funny.
