If you don't like pops, I also have mice cream cones. Miss Ellen sent this one in a prize package. It's sweet, savory and nippy and I love it.
There's a choice of cones. The pink cone with the jimmies from The Animal Rescue site is mouth-watering nip and silvervine flavor. I don't believe they carry them anymore but you can prolly find some tasty cool refreshments on Etsy.
Of course, you can just choose to lay there like a lump and complain about the heat.
Today is also International Beer Day so maybe you want to relax with a cold frosty nip beer. Of course cats can't drink real beer but remember to keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of H2O. I do! Humans should also stick to water since alcohol makes the body feel warmer.

1. I am contemplating keeping The Woman up all night again by singing the song of my people.

3. I can go from zero to ten in record time. One minute I'll look like I'm sleeping; the next I'm running top speed through the Tunnel of Pain and jumping in the ToP condo.
4. I miss the days when I could get window whiffies. The peeps refuse to open the windows. Not only that; but' at night' TW blocks the window sill in her room just cos she accuses me of deliberately making noise with the vertical blinds. A cat's gotta do what a cat's gotta do to entertain herself.

ReplyDeleteMom says she'd prefer the beer but the problem is she doesn't drink, well, anything 'cept coca cola, the diet kind. Me, that H20 stuff is just fine, but I'd luv to try some ice cream (or being a fancycat, maybe some Italian ice or sherbet?) ... she wouldn't make me artsy this week, but yours is stunning which is apurrpriate for a stunning cat. Happy weekend all, hot or not.

Hi CK! Wow! Look at those treats! It has been HOT here and Mom has been giving us ice in the water. Us cats are not too sure about it, but Cinnamon thinks it is terrific. Your cool treats are terrific! And we LOVE your fill-ins! We did not get to the fill i-ins this week. Its been over a month now...we sure hope that nothing happens between now and next Friday! We hope you and TW and Pops have a terrific week!
