Hola kitties! This kitteh is only a teenager in human years but I'm suffering
plenty of angst. If you look at how many bloopers, you can understand part of my angst. I can't get good help. I can't go where I want. I can't do what I want. I can't bite
who I want. They think The Cat doesn't know how to behave herself around open
flames and pipes. I shall explain and then I have photo fails, fill-ins, art
AND remembrance of my Rainbow Bridge furrends. Phew! I think I need a nap.
The peeps rarely go into the utility closet which also houses the HVAC stuff and the water heater. They rarely go in there cos a certain Stunning Cat will sneak between their legs and go in there where it's dusty and houses all kinds of sensitive equipment they say cats shouldn't be nosing around.
However, every time they go in there one of them will leave the door open and
walk away. Enter The Cat. After my partial entry was thwarted, I retreated to
my Tunnel of Pain to snoopervise. We needed good material for this post so she
decided instead to take these shots of my expert snoopervision.
Pet Photo Fails
TW was clicking pics as I stood near the Tunnel of Pain snoopervising Pop vacuuming out the utility
closet, which I had previously been thwarted from entering.
TW was using zoom so as not to have to get too close. I don't think she's used the zoom in years. She flashed me; so, with a look of disgust, I turned the laser eyes on her.
So she took the pic looking down at me. It's a fail cos you can't see my stunning face. You can still see the look of disgust.
Anyhoo, it was taking her so long to focus the automatic focus camera for the third shot, I got bored and started washing my paws. You might notice that many of my fails involve TW not capturing my face.
The Pet Photo Fails blog hop was created by Roby Sweet, who sadly is no longer
with us, and is now graciously hosted by Mudpie and Melissa over at
Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries and Meows. I'd like to see your fails so link up on her page so we can all get a laugh
out of them.
Friendly Fill-ins
It's now time to snoopervise the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at
this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They
think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface.
This week my image relates to fill-in number one. It also could be 2 and 3 since I am stunning and my scratching post is in the upper right of the image.
1. I plan to sleep these last few days of August.
2. I am a stunning cat.
3. Using my scratching post is proving difficult these days. I guess my claws are getting a bit long and they do get caught again and I do have to pull and pull to get free. TW mentioned taking me back to the stabby place to get them cut again but Pop said they shouldn't put me through that trauma again. I agree with him.
4. Have I ever told you about the time that I crawled under the dishwasher? Apparently, I'm not allowed to go there either. I mean, it's not like I made it start leaking.
Caturday Art
You've all read the book or heard the song "one pill makes you larger and one
pill makes you small." The cat version would be something like "One Leaf Makes
You Larger" which is what I call this art. I'm referring to nip and how large
my normally large eyes are. Kittehboi's nip can do this to ya.
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day
Tomorrow is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. As well as remembering the cats
who came before me: Faith Eddy Girl, Chizzy, Nicky and Autumn, I'd like to
remember a few of my bestest Twitter anipals who went to the RB this past
year: Daffy, Lily Lu, Boris Kitty, Tiny Pearl Cat, Newt, Topaz, to name a few. The image below was lovingly created by Jodie Rosenthal and revised each time an anipal gets his or her wings. You can biggify the image.
Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day was founded in 2015 by Deborah Barnes, award-winning author and blogger of Zee & Zoey’s Cat Chronicles in tribute to her Ragdoll cat, Mr. Jazz, who she had to say goodbye to on August 28, 2013. She shared the journey of letting him go in her critically acclaimed book, Purr Prints of the Heart – A Cat’s Tale of Life, Death, and Beyond and decided to create the day in his honor as a way for others across the world to share memories of their own pets they had loved and lost.
Ah girl, I feel your pain, there is a big closet in my loo-room (also the human's loo room) and I am not s'posed to go in it, however there is a mad dash to do so: it has Q-tips I love to steal and some girlypad thingies I like to steal and hide in weird places (oh SHE gets mad) not to mention scissors 'n other danger stuff, what fun! If'n we do, share your nip please, it's a winner, big eyes, oooohh. Hope your weekend is one of good bites and successful thievery.
ReplyDeleteThey may be fails, but you still look stunning. I love the art!!
ReplyDeleteThat's just wrong. Kitties should be able to go anywhere they want. Beautiful art as always!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your angst is up CK but your photos are always stunning and your answers are always fun. Love that fancy art!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I look at that OTRB picture, I get leaky eyes. So many of my pals from when I first went online 11 years ago are in that picture. Mom even got to meet some in purrson, like Pandy. Or she met their humans (that's a loooong list). I miss those pals so much.
ReplyDeleteI like the fails, and my cats are nodding in agreement, you should be able to go wherever you want to, CK!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely memorial to those who have gone to The Rainbow Bridge.

ReplyDeleteOMC that artwork is incredible!!!!!!! Love it!!! I might be passing on the Rainbow Bridge thing this year......Roary is having some issues (was at Vet earlier in the week).....just not feeling up to posting anything on the blog for it this year. I will probably post something on facebook (maybe).....not even sure I will do that. I am sorry about the loss of so many of your furiends this year.
ReplyDeleteYou should be able to go anywhere you want. I'm sure that you won't cause any trouble. Hahaha! I love seeing bloopers. All my pictures are bloopers. Forget smartphones, I need a smart camera. Your artwork is stunning this week. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThey may be bloopers but we got a good view of the back of your head. Your art is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I agree you shouldn't go back to the stabby place for a nail trim. I don't recall your getting under the dishwasher, you should be allowed in the close though. :) Thank you for the Rainbow Bridge day reminder. I like your photo fails and I love your art- thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome art, CK! Very trippy.
ReplyDeleteCK, Your fill-ins ROCK! we too have a "Closet". Ours is in the bathroom and if we get in there, we can crawl under the bathtub! Mom gets upset when we get in there. Around our house, Your phot fails would end up getting used. We have far too many pictures in our blog, and Your Art is the bestest! TW really has talent! And what an incredible Rainbow Bridge memorial! So spectacular and holds a ton of love! We love your post this week! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteCK, Sweetie has the same murder mitt issue; she won't allow clipping!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous art again this week, and thank you for the puzzle.
Hugs and purrs on this remembrance day.
Your artwork is awesome, CK! And yeah, we can see how disgusted you are in that second shot.
ReplyDeleteHow did you fit under the dishwasher? That's incredible!
Oh CK, I love that artsy pic of you, stunning as always. That's such a beautiful collage of all the special Angels. Thank you for coming by to pay your respects to Clooney, you were always a special pal. Purrs to you, TW & Pops.
ReplyDeleteCK, your artsy picture is truly pawsome - one of your best. Oh! Those eyes! That must have been really good quality nip.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the places you are not allowed to go - We sympathise. We think you are furry hard done by!
The place We are totally barred from is the Study aka the Computer Room - because there are a lot of wires and cables there, and Shimshi really, really loves chewing electric cables.
Great art and fails!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the vet can give your folks something like gabapentin to drug you at home and they they can steal your sharp claws!
ReplyDeleteFantastic art this week.
