Feral Friday Gossip: Bunhead Doesn't Live Here Anymore

Hola kitties! Cats are very curious creatures. We spend copious time patrolling the 'hood by looking out the window. As some of you know, my peeps entertain themselves during these quarantine times by neighbor watching at the window also. There's been some changes around the 'hood and the peeps aren't happy. First, Bunhead doesn't live here anymore.

Feral Friday Gossip: Bunhead Doesn't Live Here Anymore

The back door of the former Bunhead mansion was open for the first time in years the other night. TW observed two mature-looking men on the private patio smoking something. She also saw two big dogs roaming around near the doorway. The new neighbors have been nicknamed The Doobie Brothers. Heh heh.

Our bathing beauties have also moved to greener pastures. Their claim to fame was laying outside in 53F weather in bikinis. There were two women and three tweenie girls. Pop, especially, is sorry to see them go. They provided some great moments like when they all got their hair cut and the adults got dye jobs on the terrace during the pandemic when it was against the Luv Gov's orders to do so.

Feral Friday Gossip: Bunhead Doesn't Live Here Anymore

We think the people who lived above them moved into that unit although we're not sure. The peeps haven't come up with a name for them that's PC enough to repeat.

Someone moved into the Giant's apartment who has white Christmas lights strung across their terrace. They are a welcome addition since half of our Christmas lights went kaput last week. The guy who originally lived there always had a football game on, hence his nickname.

Yes, we lead an exciting life.

Friendly Fill-ins

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number four.

Feral Friday Gossip: Bunhead Doesn't Live Here Anymore

1. To bite or not to bite? Is a questions I ask myself.

2. I wish the peeps would wear shorts. For some reason since I moved here, the peeps refuse to wear shorts in the condo. I don't know what their reasoning could be. Do you?

3. I'm on the fence about nothing. I know what I want and what I like and I won't accept anything less.

4. If you don't watch out the window, you won't know who your neighbors are. They can offer hours of quarantine entertainment and they won't even know you're watching.

Caturday Art

I've used this photo before for my art. Different filters bring out a totally different aura A skyline or some spring flowers. This time I'm peaking through the summer flowers to say goodbye to the season of pretty flowers. I painted on canvas.

Feral Friday Gossip: Bunhead Doesn't Live Here Anymore

It will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.

BONUS ART! I didn't want to use today's art for a puzzle so I found an older painting that hadn't been a puzzle. Enjoy!

  2. As The Hubby is retired, he's been doing the neighborhood watch for years, and our next door neighbors appreciate that! When they go on vacation, they let us know to keep an eagle eye out on their property. And, for awhile there, the police were called to the house across the street OFTEN; we never knew why, but it's not fun to find your cop cars parked all over.

  10. Your art gets better all the time! We have new neighbors too. They have a large dog that barks really loud but that's all we know so far. The guy that moved away was a real party animal for years but had finally settled down.

  22. CK, we're glad that your neighbors provide you with lots of entertainment, and that you provide them with lots of snoopervision. As for your peeps wearing shorts, perhaps you should crank up the heat so that they have to offer some fresh leg meat? Then, to bite or not to bite? will have its obvious answer. Purrs!
