Weekend Warrior Hopping

Hola kitties! Tis the weekend! I haven't posted on the weekend in so long, I hope I get some visitors. I'm going to post some fill-ins and some art. Are you feeling it? TW sure isn't. She's been doing chores and watching the baseball game. We won, incidentally, for those who care. TW couldn't decide on a lead image between two that she made. I like this one cos this stunning warrior is about to hop up in the air to catch my prey.

Friendly Fill-Ins

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number one as well as the lead image.

1. I wish I had been alive during the years the peeps were young. I'll bet TW would have the energy to play with me all day. Maybe Uncle Willie would have built me a catio on the back porch.

2. My favorite way to have apples is none. TW likes her macoun apples raw but also enjoys macs in turkey stuffing or sparkling cider. Pop too.

3. I was sad to find out that TW is dealing with medical problems.

4. Controlling a pandemic isn't rocket science. Seriously. If everyone wore masks, social distanced and quarantined for a few weeks. the economy would have been back and tens of thousands of humans would still be alive. They did it in NY although with college kids back and restaurants reopening, that may change. Young humans tend to be dumb and don't realize they may be asymptomatic but that crap stays in their bodies for life. 33% of college athletes who tested positive for the crony virus were found to have myocarditis, an inflammation of the middle layer of the heart wall.

Caturday Art

For my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop, I blended summer into fall by contrasting colors like lilacs and greens with oranges and reds. I am stunning per usual in purple and green. There's also a puzzle.

My human and I get so mad about people who defy all the masks and social distancing because it means just that much more time before I can go back to therapy cat work. :-( I hope TW has good sources to cope with her medical issues.

I hope TW is getting good treatment ad is soon on the mend from her medical problems.
Good fill ins. I agree about #4. Why can't people buckle down and socially distance for as long as it takes so we can all get back to some sort of normal in the not too distant future.
Cases are rising here again the same as everywhere else, and it is mostly amongst the 19-29 age group.

Hoping that TW will feel better soon! Good answers and I certainly agree with number 4. Living near a college town makes things especially difficult for us. That's beautiful art, I really like it!

Sorry I am a day late ( and many dollars short). Thank you for participating in the fill-ins , great answers except for TW having health issues. She is in my prayers. I never thought of apples in stuffing, that is a good idea that I will try this year. I agree with #4, such simple things and yet some won't comply because they are selfish and don't care about others. I love your art and I won't complain about no puzzle being that TW is sick. XO

I think you chose the perfect lead image. Those paws are lightening fast! Your fill-ins were interesting. I had to google that apple variety. I've never seen that type here (maybe it's an east coast apple). Google says it's like a Gala or Honeycrisp, and we like both of those. Sorry to hear TW is having to deal with health issues. We send purrs for all of you.

CK! Darling! Wes behind on visiting! But wes did get the mom to does the puzzle yesterday. The fill-in answers was great, except about TW. Sick humans is no fun. Wes is purraying for TW. Our mom would bring soup if wes was not so far away.

I'm sorry to hear about TW - hope she feels better soon. I make a stuffing with apples in it as well. As for #4, we just stay home most of the time so we don't have to run into maskless people.

My momma agrees wif you on apples CK. She’ll eat apple pie, but it’s not her favorite.
