I do love those crinkle balls. Since I'm no longer a kitten, I don't chase and run after them so much. I like when TW flips them to me and I bat them back at her. Don't tell her but I aim to take out one of her eyes. She says I hit them hard. I have my reasons, Women. Heh.
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number three.
What you can't see in this shot is that my out-stretched paw is on TW's hand. Of course my claws are out.
This is one of our favorite pics.
1. Trying to teach Pop how to use the scanner is like trying to nail jello to a wall. At least that's what TW says. Those might not be her exact words since she's never tried to nail jello to a wall but the sentiment is the same. She's not a very patient teacher since she's self-taught.
2. Crony virus quarantine never ends. The peeps feel like they're gonna be wearing face coverings the rest of their lives. When they went out to the park the other day, about 85% of the people they saw in the street either weren't wearing face coverings or were wearing them under their noses. It also seems you can't talk on or even look at messages on mobile devices while wearing one. Sigh. And we were the epicenter of the pandemic.
3. If I had a dollar for every time bit, I would be rich. I've been using Pop like a bully stick. He tastes like tuna.
4. I wish tuna grew on trees. I'd have the peeps pick some for me.
A few weeks ago was Drawing Day but I hadn't finished most of the drawings I was working on. I'm a pretty busy cat, you know, but I'll just blame TW for it. This was one of them. If it looks like I had a lot of fun scribbling, I did. TW wasn't too happy when I started scribbling on the walls though. Doesn't the wall behind me look all cool and stuff? She didn't think so. She took my Venus Paradise colored pencils away but I still created a puzzle.
Wow, the thought of tuna growing on trees is really appealing!
ReplyDeleteYou have done a good job with the wall, very impressionist!
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me when I see people on TV wearing masks how many have them under their nose. Even nurses!
It will be compulsory from Monday to wear them on all public transport.
CK, you know that Sweetie likes to bite me too...but she doesn't have many teeth, so I just get gummed...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the puzzle...off to play it!
your art is fabulous, CK. Useum quality we think. Mom is so tired of seeing people wearing face masks below their noses and seeing so many people without. We hope you all continue to stay safe and healthy. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
ReplyDeleteThose were really good fill-in answers CK and of course your photos are stunning...and so is your art!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteLove all your photos...really like the
drawing...have a great day!
Unfortunately, Mom agrees that masks are going be around for a while. We hope people learn how to wear them properly.
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS art!
The Florida Furkids
CK...toona on treez wood bee a dreem come two with trout at de root base :)
ReplyDeleteN ya noe, TW's foto skillz did rock bak then, her cap sured yur stunning nezz ta purrfectionz ~~~~ ☺☺♥♥
Crinkle balls are my favorite!!! Your art is just fab this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I don't know why so many people are lax about masks, nothing has changed and it won't until there is a vaccine. I had a feeling your answer to #3 would be biting :) Very nice flashback photos and I love your art. Thank you for the puzzle, I like how the pieces are shaped differently. XO
ReplyDeleteWith that look on your face in that photo, I can TELL your claws were out.
ReplyDeleteOf course your claws were out! Love the art. Don't even talk about learning technology. My brain is already fried LOL.
ReplyDeleteWe have some of those crinkly balls. There’s probably a dozen of them under the fridge!
ReplyDeleteMOL...Grandpaw can relate to that, CK, he's so unhandy with computers...MOL..A tuna tree sounds good to me and that drawing day is paying off, it looks mighty fine. Now, don't bite to much, except it is for the tuna..or so😸Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteYou can come draw on my walls anytime CK, I love that art!
ReplyDeleteLovely art!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of tuna, which Mum thinks is unusual for a cat. I only like chicken. Mum says she doesn't like the idea of tuna growing on trees because the stench would be so awful.
Your artwork is very pretty! And tuna tree would be really nice :-)
ReplyDeleteHmm, CK - We think you should reconsider the bit about taking TW's eye out! She needs to see propurrly to find your food and treats and so on...
ReplyDeleteWhat? Tuna on trees? That would be SO awesome, CK. Hey, would that mea you would no longer need to bite Pop?
ReplyDeleteCK let me know if the hairball goop helps you and if you take ity. Admiral and I have let it literally melt off our paws where mom put it since she can't get us to eat it.
ReplyDeleteEddy is also a fan of crinkly balls. She likes when I toss them to her, but if I take too long to toss it, the hand that has the ball bleeds. Does that ever happen when TW plays ball with you, CK! And your fill-ins are fantastic! Does money ever find its way to you when you use those pearly whites? I don't see why it shouldn't. Some ladies dance for money, and some ladies bite. Purrs!
ReplyDeleteDang, girl. It's obvious your eyes are not watching the crinkle ball, but TW's hand. Great art. I shall pop over and do the puzzle.
ReplyDeleteI can't blame you for not wanting to show your tail. Manna says that she wouldn't either - that's a mancat thing. You're right- it does feel like the corona virus stuff is going to last forever. I'm just hoping that we don't end up having a second wave that puts us all back into quarantine.
ReplyDeleteTuna trees sounds great ! Great answers, and beautiful flashback pictures ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteStunning as always Yes,to tuna trees purrlease!
