Hola kitties! No quote this week cos today is the most special of the most special days on the cat blogging calendar. It's Cat World Domination Day. This, the 24th day of June, was declared Cat World Domination Day by Sparkle Cat on her 10th birthday in 2012, several years before she went to the Rainbow Bridge. Summer is now carrying on the tradition. I've been celebrating by posting since 2013.This year I'd like to bring up a phrase that's you've all heard I'm sure. Think Global. Act Local.
While the truth is cats do rule the world—in fact we rule the universe!—I'm stuck in this 1090-ft. condo. What's a cat to do? Think Global. Act Local. TW likes to remind me of a song that spells mother out with sweet little nothing phrases. I have a version of the song which will spell out my domination over her and even Pop. I rule over the peeps with an iron paw. TW is scared of me. That's why she sleeps with a barrier between us and reacts to my every need (or else).
D is for DEMANDS that my kibble dish stays full
O is for the ORDER she clean my litter box when it's been used
M is for the MANY ways I boss her around
I reminds her that I am number one and not her
N is for the NIPS upon her legs and arms
A is for her ANKLES that I've tattooed and scarred
T is for the TANTRUMS TW throws when I bite her
I is for INSISTENCE she keep my fountain full
O is cos I OWN her
N is cos NOBODY is above The Cat
It's hard to think globally when there are 30 to 40 million cats living in the streets in the U.S. of which about 2% are neutered. That is a huge problem even though they are dominating their territory and proving that they have the wherewithal to survive the life they choose. It's a huge problem for humans who are trying to control our population.
42.7 million U.S. households are dominated by cats. How do you dominate your human?

ReplyDeleteThe number of cats not spayed or neutered makes me crazy! Especially since there are now so many low cost vet clinics, some that will even to that for free. Some peeps are idiots.
