Wednesday Wisdom: Calm Cat

Hola kitties! What's the good word? The good word here is calm. Pop is on Staycation this week and even though a lot has been going on, this kitteh has stayed very calm. I've remembered my mantra and have been practicing cat yoga. It's all good. Meanwhile the peeps have been going crazypants decorating and creating havoc. It's always an adventure when they do anything.

Wednesday Wisdom: Calm Cat

I thought I'd share some Wednesday Wisdom today. Back in the prehistoric days of the blog, my mid-week post used to be Words of Wisdom by The Cat.

Wednesday Wisdom: Calm Cat

I thought I'd revisit the concept by sharing a quote from a human. Apparently Mr Renard was a French author so I hope they didn't use Mr. Google or FB for the translation. (Oy vey. Their translations are terrible.) He also said "writing is a way of talking without being innerupted" which is why I like blogging. I can say whatever I want with no inneruptions almost like I'm talking to myself. I do like comments after I've said my piece.

Wednesday Wisdom: Calm Cat

Nothing can be further than more calming for The Cat than sitting in a box full of tissue paper waiting to play with The Woman. I look so serene and ready to begin meditating.

Does sitting in a box bring feelings of calm into your life?

Would you like to comment?

  1. I agree, sitting in a box is very relaxing. I have 3 boxes in the house and visit them frequently.

  2. I haven't found a box big enough for me to sit in, but if I do I will let you know if it brings feelings of calmness.
Flynn used to be the epitome of calmness in a box.

  6. Oh CK! I've been crazypants with all kinds of stuffs these last few weeks; only taking a break over the long T-Day holiday. Now, it's a downhill run into more craziness. Guess I need to just sit and observe a sitting cat or two...

  9. That's a great quote! Mudpie isn't as crazy about boxes as she used to be. This time of year is all about laps.
