What Should I Post About Today?

Hola kitties! This has been a slow week around the condo. Spring arrived for a few days with temperatures in the 60s so TW has been taking advantage and going out and doing things like getting her fur cut. Meanwhile The Cat sits home by herself. Tuesday night TW was still wondering what to post about.

What Should I Post About Today?

Meanwhile The Cat made the executive decision to post Foto Frenzy even though it's not officially #FlashbackFriday whether that's ok with anybuddy or not. I'm a rebel like that. We have something old and something fairly new and both are in focus too. Let's begin with the newest.

What Should I Post About Today?

Foto #7696 was taken for a January 2017 Tiki Cat product review for Chewy. Believe it or not, I had to pose for four separate foto shoots and hunnerts of fotos for TW to use five lousy fotos in the entire review. FedEx does a wonderful job delivering my packages as you can see from the shape the box is in. I'd like to say this is the exception but it's not. Oh, that box I'm posing on is the box that was going to turn into a cat tree two years later. TW used to love to set up foto shoots on it. I liked it cos I always looked stunning cos there was sufficient lighting but I like my cat tree even better. Thanks to the Kitties Blue for selecting this foto.

What Should I Post About Today?

The Tabbies o'Trout Towne elected to see #164 and I will honor their request. TW didn't like to see this one from June 2009 pop up cos this is how I lay before an asthma attack—with my neck extended. However, this was a few years before I was diagnosed with asthma and the peeps don't remember me coughing before then. In fact, this was two years before my first vet tried to kill me by turning me on my back and putting me in respiratory distress. Pop insists I just like to lay this way and that I find it comfortable. I prolly wore myself out playing with that large hair elastic or with the peppermint stick. TW still insists she's right.

Yesterday was Safer Internet Day. In the past, I've been linking to the blogs who have chosen the fotos I run weekly. It's come to my attention that some blogs don't have the lock and aren't SECURE. It's been almost a year since Chrome has announced that it's marking sites not secure if they're not encrypted. I urge you to check with your hosts and see about getting an SSL to protect yourself as well as your visitors. You can check out the dangers of not having a secure site here.

I'll be back with the Friendly Fill-ins on Friday. Enjoy the rest of the week.

  2. You look very demure sitting beside the chewy box.
I have noticed on some sites that even though the have an https url, when you click to leave a comment it comes up as www. and marked not secure. I checked both my blogs, one with embedded and one with pop up comments and they both stay https.

  4. I'll never understand why FedEx is so mean to boxes! Boxes should be worshipped and treated with care... for the kitties who receive them.

  5. CK, your pose is exactly what Sweetie does, when she has an attack. She is a friendly feral; I have to gauge vet visits very carefully. She's done this for years, especially when she is just awakened from a nap. I won't put out the food bowls until she is finished and ready to eat, otherwise The PO'M will eat all of his AND hers!

  6. Love your photos. You're a beautiful cat. Shhh...don't tell Daisy Mae.

  7. We love your Foto Frenzy days, whichever day they are. Funny, our Chewy boxes often look like yours do. We STILL don't have SSL on our site because of cost and other reasons our hosting service won't go into. We'll start up that fight with them again today.

  12. I got a bit of a banged up Chewy box today too. I don't blame FedEx entirely, the box wasn't tightly packed inside. Nothing was damaged though, the crowd will be able to enjoy their delish food (well, I hope they find it delish. I'm trying something they haven't had before as well as one of their favorite things ever.)

  15. Love the photo frenzy. And we totally relate to posing for hundreds of pics to get a few good ones. Our mom is a lousy photographer.

  16. Fed Ex just isn’t what it used to be, CK.

  17. CK, you is always glorious in *every* picture! Hey--you had warmer temps than we did--it was in the 30s when the Human left the house this morning and it barely got over 50 all day. I mean, I have made a permanent home by the radiator. Maybe you'd like to come warm me up?

  19. Flashbacks are always interesting. Our Chewy/FedEx deliveries were also being mistreated. Nearly every shipment we received was banged around so much that cans were punctured or cracked open! We stopped ordering from Chewy because it was too wasteful and too much of a hassle to call after every order and report how many cans were damaged.
